Amazing to have such a good option in Kuah, when not much else around.
Read moreOrdered 2 tropical cooler drinks which were amazing, and then for food we had Mee Mamak Langkawi, Dumplings & Noodle Bowl & curry puffs. Dumplings were average but the rest was fantastic. Nice vibe and air con too!
Pros: Most of menu is vegan (rest veggie), Good mix of cuisines, Fresh drinks
Cons: Pricey but only veggie/vegan in Kuah

All you could want - Edit
A gem in the middle of Kuah. Not many veggie places around, and this one certainly hits the spot! Most things are vegan by default or can be veganised for you.
Read moreGreat atmosphere, affordable, good location, good service and of course awesome mainly asian-style food (with the occasional burger)

One of the best restaurants in Malysia - Edit
We loved their food!!! I went with 2 other girls who are not even vegans and we all thought that our meals were delicious. We are definitely going back there again since meloir is one of the best restaurants we have been in Malaysia.

Closed despite being listed as open everywhere online - Edit
We ate here last year and it was very good, there was an extensive menu of veg*n options. When we visited today during the opening times listed on here, on Google & on their Facebook, it was closed, and there were no opening times displayed so it wasn't clear whether it has changed its opening times or closed completely. Disappointing, after we'd driven for 50 minutes from the other side of the island especially to go there! I'd recommend calling first if you want to go, to check it will be open.

They are still open, but like we're finding all over the island, hours are very fluid due to the lack of customers. Food is still great, so hopefully you can return when they're not closed.

A post-pandemic vegan option. - Edit
With so many places closing or changing menus during the pandemic, this place stands out. My family tried the chickpea/black bean burger, nasi lemak, and gyoza. All were flavourful and reasonably priced. The restaurant is modern and well ventilated. Highly recommended for all.
Read morePros: Mostly, if not all, vegan., Nice atmosphere., Delicious food.
Cons: Out of the way for many, but worth the trip., Hours are a bit unpredictable, but so is life.

A little goldmine in Langkawi. Very friendly staff and great food. If you bring a water bottle they will let you refill it to prevent unnecessary plastic waste.

Good food - Edit
The food is great and not overly expensive.
Read moreI was somewhat dissapointed though, when one very busy day I didn't have time to eat, then rushed to Melior with a taxi (as it is the only restaurant with vegan food in Kuah after the buddhist lunch place closes), and made it there at 8.31pm, 1 minute after they closed the kitchen (the place is still open until 9pm), and because I was 1 minute late they wouldn't take my order. This I thought showed a complete lack of empathy.
Pros: Good food
Cons: Not willing to take order 29min before closing

Almost all food is vegan - Edit
Just several food and drink options are with cheese or milk, the rest is vegan. They use only brown rice and whole grain wheat (as they said). Everything was delicious, I was very happy as a client as well as a nutritionist. 5 dishes and 5 drinks - 120 ringgits or 25 euro.

Yum! - Edit
We drove from Chanang to come here for lunch and we weren't disappointed! There is limited vegan food on the island but here I could have pretty much the whole menu and it was delicious. We'd be back here every meal if we were staying nearby! And it's just a lovely little cafe to sit in too (clean, comfortable, fast service and chilled music)😄

Had no expectation walking into Melior but was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, the variety of menu and most importantly the taste! Had the buddha bowl and enjoyed every bits of it. Will definitely come back here again!
