Every other explanation of this place sounds awesome! When I was there there were not only no vegan options other than basic salad, but the guy working there didn’t understand why a vegan would be there at all. So call first.

Lots of international groceries and imported foods and fresh produce plus specialty vegan items unavailable elsewhere locally, such as vegan kebab protein and yummy prepared stuffed grape leaves. They mark down the international foods, so if you hit it lucky you can try new things without breaking the bank. The giant cans of italian tomatoes can be useful if you’re cooking sauce for a crowd.

This place used to seem outrageously expensive to me but since the pandemic gouging started elsewhere it’s reasonable by comparison. I buy my Bob’s Red Mill and German museli here.

Well priced bags of fresh pita including giant sized for makin the BIG wraps!

Produce selection is small but clean, fresh, and yes, the prices are better than Publix. I bought romaine here that stayed crispy for four days. Plus, they sell sprouts which those cowards at said chain will no longer stock. Very good fresh herb selection. Great selection of soft drinks.

Service is fast and pleasant. There’s a bakery, deli and pizza counter, scads of booze but I never use those sections so I can’t say. Plenty of parking. If you go East from the market, there’s a great beach with a big parking lot. If you head west, there’s a cute park on the river where you can enjoy your snacks.
