Very tasty bread

There's a great little natural grocery next door too. Worth the visit.

A gem, a glowing gem, in an otherwise stale environment...

We recently became converts to the prebiotic value of long-proof sourdough bread, and the revelation that most wheat-sensitive people can eat sourdough with impunity. We have become aficionados. According to the web site for this woman's shop, they source local and sustainable ingredients and adjuncts, unprocessed flours. Long-proof sourdough is the best out there, and hers fills the bill. The taste is extraordinary, the behavior of the dough within each different finished product offers variety, and the creations themselves offer a variety of marvelous flavors. During our trip, we tried the olive loaf, rosemary loaf, focaccia with parmigiana, croissants (light, soft, gentle crust, and full of textures! hold me back! I could eat a truckload!), cranberry walnut. Came back for more three times before leaving the area, stocking up for the rest of the trip. Also, there is a little frige with a variety of adjunct foodie items like kombucha, cultured vegs - amazingly tasty microbial stock created the excellent Short Mountain Cultures Sour Roots Kraut we tried. And the coconut kefir was beautifully thick, aromatic and tasty as well... Lovely and personable staff, eco-friendly packaging, pleasant, living air about the place... Didn't occur to us to save photos - we just dug in and relished...

Pros: variety!, taste heaven!, healthy for guts and sanity!

Cons: I cannot eat more than I can...
