Pretty poor for vegans - Edit
I stopped here for brunch/late breakfast after seeing the menu outside and spotting a few vegan options.
Read moreFirstly, they charge 50p extra for non dairy milk which is disappointing in 2024. Then the Iced latte arrived in cube form for some reason. The milk was cold and the cubes never melted.
Then the brunch arrived - just one sausage, and one slice of bread with some veg and half an avocado. It was pretty sparse considering the price.
Not awful if you are with a group of non-vegans and don’t have a choice of venue but these days most other restaurants cater much better to vegans.
Would be surprised if anyone working on this menu had ever tried their vegan options as it seems they just took out the meat and eggs from another dish with very little thought.

Nice vegan options - Edit
I had brunch and the vegan pancakes were fab. Lovely atmosphere. However I had tea and was charged 30p for oat milk. I understand if I’d bought a milky drink eg latte, but I was given a tiny jug with a splash in it. Think it’s cheeky to charge for that.

Wonderful Atmosphere - Edit
I absolutely loved my meal at Megan’s. The atmosphere is just really lovely. It’s homey and cosy, and even though it was really busy, the staff were so sweet and accommodating. I love that it’s dog friendly, and that the booths are decorated with fairy lights.
Read moreThe food itself is so homemade tasting, but it’s VERY rich and oily. The Lokma doughnuts are beautiful but they’re so sweet and oily that you do have to brace yourself.
Their hot chocolate is probably the nicest I’ve ever had!
All in all, I’d definitely come again! 😍
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Cute doggies to look at, Friendly staff
Cons: Quite small portions , A little too oily for me, Doesn’t have a cash register
