Great place and great staff. The food is just perfect, well priced and tasty. They looked after my one year old and made sure it was child friendly. Won’t be our last visit. Highly recommended!

We had a jaunt out to Southport on Jan 11, 2022. We found Megafauna via HappyCow. It had rave reviews and we weren’t disappointed! Hubby had the chick’n facon cheeze toastie and I had the tomato smoked cheeze toastie (we shared half each) and we shared a portion of cheezey facon chips. OMG soooo tasty. I was really full but couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to have a gorgeous, huge slice of Victoria sponge. All washed down with tea and oat milk. Hubby had an Americano. Cannot fault at all. #Veganuary

Brilliant find on a day out to Southport - Edit
Had a great visit to this place today thanks to happy cow, great tasty food, lovely friendly folks working today. The apple and blackcurrant cake was the best I've had for a long time, so pleased we found this place, will definitely be back! Thank you 🙂

Ben and the team provided amazing food for a wedding shower I had arranged. Food was simply delicious and so easy to arrange. Ben was professional and really helpful. Food was delivered on time and all the guests really enjoyed it. I would use again and definitely recommend.

I had a butty here with some replacement for turkey, I think seitan, with christmassy trimmings and a cup of tea and it was spot on. The staff are nice and the place is dogfriendly. Just a little bit difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area.

I visited megafauna with my mum (non-vegan) and brother (vegan), and we were all really impressed by the cuisine on offer. We stopped in for lunch and couldn’t resist getting a plate with all the freshly made salads on, as well as a taste of the pasties and soup on the menu. We were all really impressed by the flavours of our food and the seasonal feel to the menu. After a savoury course we were tempted by the delicious looking raspberry and coconut cake on offer, and the friendly host gave us an extra large portion to share between the three of us (as well as a second round of excellent coffees - so good my mum is thinking of switching to oat milk over diary permanently). Overall, a really great experience and I’m so happy to find a vegan place like this in the small resort town!

I’ve been a regular visitor here for a while now. My local vegan cafe. Delicious food, healthy stuff and the indulgent stuff too. Really friendly staff, great vibe, love the decor and the authentic seating. Lovely atmosphere here, breast feeding friendly. We love it here and we’ll keep coming back.

Not far from the centre but enough that you can get a little peace, the food is great, the atmosphere calming and the people who welcomed us are fantastic.

Really Good Find - Edit
As planning a day out to Southport, I found this little cafe on here. I took my wife, son and our little problem eater daughter. We was welcomed and was made comfortable. The food was excellent and staff didn't seem to mind us constantly asking has this got soy in? The cakes are to die for, and especially for my daughter who can't tend to have cakes was amazing. Thank you so much we will definitely be recommending to anyone who will listen and will 100% be returning soon.

Quite a tiny place (the whole eating area is maybe 15 square feet), and the menu is similarly small: four quiches, soup and sandwiches, cakes, ice cream and drinks. Soup is cheap (£2), other things are around £5. The quiche is quite nice and deceptively filling.
