Good Falafel Plate!

We had excellent vegan falafel plates from this restaurant last week. Very tasty. The three vegan dips - hummus, babganoush, and a kind of tomato salsa were excellent. The stuffed grape leaves were also vegan and good. No real drawbacks.

Pros: Tasty food - well spiced, reasonable prices, friendly people

Great vegan options!

We love Mediterrano! I think the falafel is fantastic - best I've ever had. And if you ask, they will make the lavash bread vegan (they leave off the wash) - it's delicious!

Pros: Tasty vegan options

Cons: Limited vegan options

Sadly Not Good

I have lived in the Middle East and really wanted to be excited about this restaurant but am sad to report that the falafel was shockingly poor. I actually didn't know that falafel could be so heavy and densely saturated with oil. I love falafel and am not afraid of fat, but it is not supposed to be like this!

The little bits of "salad" included on the falafel plate were also pretty meager and sad. The whole thing felt heavy with oil over everything, including the scraps of iceberg lettuce and the bed of starchy white rice.

To-go containers were styrofoam; thus if I had thought to ask first I wouldn't have ordered at all! If the food had been good I would have come back to eat in, but as it is I can't think of a reason to return :(

Pros: Front-of-house staff commiserated about styrofoam, I hope owners get the message & make a change!

Cons: Literally saturated with oil, Styrofoam containers - YUCK

Amazing food, charming atmosphere!

I loved everything about this place! From the charming/quaint/authentic decor, the little candle they lit at our table, the friendly servers, to the amaaaazing food.
I had the red pepper soup, and mezze plate with lavash bread. It was all SOOO good. Loved the stuffed grape leaves. It was fresh and healthy but filling and delicious. I'm already wanting to go back! Portions and prices were super reasonable as well.
My boyfriend had one of their drinks, and it was really good too. Great flavor, not too strong or weak.
Overall amazing place! I would give it five stars but I can't since it's not fully vegan.

Pros: amazing food, charming and authentic, great servers

Cons: none!

This place rocks

This place opening was such a boon for vegans living in an area with such sparse options. It's not just an okay option for vegans, it's an overall AMAZING restaurant. The food is so good and the people are amazingly nice.

There is not just one or two sparse vegan options, but a good portion of the menu! (Including ALL of the cold appetizers!)

My favorites are the vegetable kebabs, the babaganoush, and the falafel. Everything is well-seasoned and portions are generous.

My one request would be they bring back the tomato vegetable casserole that used to be on the menu! I loved it.

Pros: Great, well-seasoned food, Many vegan options, Cozy atmosphere

Cons: Bring back the casserole please
