Unfortunately not worth it - Edit
Was glad they have a sign on the door that says “everything vegan except…” and listed a few things not vegan. Unfortunately it wasn’t good.
Read moreOrdered the mezza tray and subbed the dairy for more hummus, over the phone. They didn’t give me the baba ganouj and the box looked like soup. It was just filled to the brim with the creamiest garlicky hummus and a tiny spoonful of cauliflower. Then two pitas on the side. The cauliflower was good besides being drowned in the hummus. It was good hummus, but it was so garlicky and creamy that it gave me a stomach ache. I have been sick of garlic and hummus for the past few weeks since, which is rare!
I prefer Bella Balducci’s, although I don’t think their pita is vegan.

Good food, vegan options, lots of garlic - Edit
Had the veggie shawarma, baba kannuj (eggplant) and hummus. They know about the ingredients and can help pick vegan options. A part of me was concerned that the garlic sauce (which is on everything) was not vegan since it was white and creamy but the sign outside confirmed that it was vegan so that was excellent. I find mediterranean kitchen food too garlicky and on higher side with salt but that is a personal food preference and for others this would be a plus. The hummus and baba kannuj was excellent and so was the pita it came with.

One of my Kirkland go-to spots - Edit
My parents live in Bothell and usually when I'm in town we end up getting takeout or delivery form Mediterranean Kitchen at one point or another.
Read moreThere are tons of great vegan options on the menu but always check with them to make sure dairy is omitted if needed from the vegetarian items.
I've enjoyed the baba ganoush, fava, hummus, fried cauliflower, grape leaves, and more.
Pros: Big portions, Delicious, fresh, authentic food, Several vegan options
Cons: Menu includes some meat, Location isn't wonderful (but has delivery)
