After looking for vegan friendly restaurants in Macon I just do happen to stumble up on this restaurant. My wife and I paid them a visit. Though having to drive a good distant but I'm glad to say I was not disappointed. They're vegan generous 😇.
Read moreI got the falfel with a side of tofu curry and it was so so good. Any vegans looking for a generous and inspiring place to dine this is it. I was always told to watch for the hook but they caught me with it. This place is getting 5 stars from me.

After reading some of the reviews I drove about 45 minutes out of my way to try this place. Totally worth it! The owners were so kind. And they offered to explain the vegan options to me. I tried 4 different items and they were all excellent flavor. Had a piece of baklava too and was very satisfying. Highly recommend!

Read moreI ordered the vegan falafel wrap, samosas, and baklava over the phone since I needed a pickup order on short notice (which they were happy to do). Once I got there to pick up the food, the lady working showed us all of the vegan options and even gave us some samples! I ended up ordering a chocolate truffle as well (haha). Everything tasted amazing and had such good flavor. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Medi's has outstanding Mediterranean & Indian fusion food, it's truly the best of both worlds! Operated by a lovely and kind vegetarian couple with great culinary talent, it's a gem of restauranteurship thats a reminder of how important it is in this country to support the gifts of your neighbors! There's a wide variety of vegan options, if you're vegan, you'll feel welcome here and sated when you leave! They have a whole shelf of vegan desserts! It's the first I've encountered vegan baklava since going vegan.

If in Macon, this is not to be missed. We were passing through and discovered this gem not far from I 75. We loved our meal and regret not bringing more home. The wrap was great. The falafel is probably the best I have ever had. Oh my, the salads were special and the fruit so fresh. I cannot shout out loud enough how much we enjoyed this place. Oh, and did I mention the desserts? Perfection.

Hands down best vegan food in Macon - Edit
This is the best option of any place in Macon. I am a vegan but they have amazing vegan and non vegan food. I tend to get the romaine falafel wrap vegan. I’ve gotten it spicy , regular and Indian style. I have had the rice and the salad version too. I’ve had nearly all their sides and the Samosas are my favorite. I eat here multiple times a week sometimes twice a day. It’s just that good. As a vegan they are the most knowledgeable and flavor is 50/10. I’ve ordered online and in person and have no complaints. I come here for peace of mind knowing they know exactly what they are doing. The vibe is so calming and it never takes long if you’re in a rush. This is my favorite place to eat hands down. I wish I came here sooner.

Pro tip! Ask which desserts are vegan, because the wall menu doesn't really explain it. We got the vegan pistachio baklava, and it was awesome. (Not ridiculously sweet.)

We stopped here on our way through GA based on other HappyCow reviews, and were completely blown away. Ordered a falafel wrap and a few sides - the most amazing falafel I have ever eaten. If you have the chance to go inside, definitely do - the owners are amazing and the menu changes frequently, so everything isn’t shown online. If we ever have a chance to come back, we will!!!

Our family originally fell in love with Medi’s because they were so careful with our son’s dairy intolerance. We are delighted that they take this same care with all of our food. The owners are a husband and wife team that really care about customer experience. They are always there and helpful. When COVID happened, we started ordering online. We tried to make all sorts of notes to remove animal products. They recommended just putting vegan in the comments field. They know what it means and carefully make sure they make it that way.
