It’s okay - Edit
I had the pizza with, among other things, mushrooms, peppers, and a green herb, whose name I can’t remember. I’ve had better pizzas before. The place is large, with a shop and a café section.

Lovely ambience and cake! - Edit
Popped in for a coffee and cake as I'd spotted it earlier in the day - there is a lovely deli and fruit and veg at the front. They had two vegan cakes (carrot and banana) so I had the former, and a decaf oat latte. Both were delicious and the general middle Eastern vibe is cool. Reggae on in the background too.
Read moreWent back for brunch which was really delicious. They will make the veggie breakfast vegan by adding avocado instead of the egg and halloumi.

Very enjoyable - Edit
We had an evening meal with friends.
Read moreThe menu - vegan items are marked on the menu but interestingly Veggie ones are not. There are some gluten free options too. I thought there was enough choice for vegans and veggies - I had the aubergine tagine with a pickled cucumber side salad. The other salads looked amazing too. Followed by a grilled pineapple and coconut ice cream. 💚
The atmosphere- loved it. The place was relaxed - perfect for meeting with friends you haven’t seen for a year. No overwhelming music. Staff were happy to help but not in your face.
Price - with £13 main and salad £6.50 It could be considered expensive. Portions were big. So I think for what you are given it’s acceptable. But if you order 2 or three salads the price for a salad comes down - so share the salads the price is better.
Seriously considering going back tonight and there’s not many places that I would say that about.
Pros: Several vegan/veggie options , Relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Veggie options not marked on menu , Price maybe?

Limited options - Edit
Lovely salads, great atmosphere and such lovely staff. Shame their vegan options are so limited. With so many places upping their game, shame Medina is lagging behind.

Delicious mezze - Edit
Agree with other reviews - not loads of vegan options but what they have is such high quality! We ate at Medina one night and got takeaway another. Our favourite was the incredibly smoky baba ghanoush but enjoyed everything we had: houmous, tabbouleh, cumin potatoes, falafel kebab (in a flatbread with very tasty slaw and couscous). Lovely setting for an outdoor evening meal - served with an Aperol spritz we could almost have been in the Mediterranean!

Great quality - Edit
Even though the vegan options are very limited, the quality is great! Love the salads and their falafels. It is on the expensive side but worth it.

Pretty good - Edit
I went a year ago & loved it, especially the lentil chickpea pilaf - but it was gone! Also a new cumin potato recipe that’s not as nice ): I had a couscous said instead which was alright, nice vibe in there and good to pick up some more exotic ingredients in the little shop. The selection for vegan/vegetarian isn’t amazing though.
