Tasty! - Edit
Big fan of the food. Have been a few times now and want to go back soon! Some great vegan options. Sad however that the bakery as you walk in doesn’t offer too many choices

Great vegan options - Edit
Vegan options were great! They had a full breakfast, avocado toast, and sandwiches. I went for the Vegan Ruben with a fresh green juice and wanted to try the homemade hash brown. All delicious!

Amazing food, better aesthetics - Edit
It was so good! I would defo go again. Their bakery has a good selection too! Hash browns were the star of the show but the falafel was underwhelming. Do not reccomend the blueberry lemonade tho i couldn't taste the blueberry at all.

Amazing food! - Edit
The portion sizes, the food, the drinks, everything about this place was great, the only thing I could grumble about was it took half an hour for the drinks to arrive, longer than the food! But apart from that it was great!

Bright and tasty - Edit
a beautiful building in central birmingham. really friendly and efficient service that doesn’t hover or pressure you, can stay as little or as long as you like.
Read moreI ordered the vegan cheese and mushroom toasted sandwich and the name does not do it justice. It very tasty and a good amount of food for breakfast/brunch.
their bakery had two vegan options (oreo muffin and biscoff doughnut) so the fact there were options is good, however would have been nice to see some vegan pastry.
there is no wheelchair access and toilets are up steep steps.
Pros: multiple vegan options, no additional charge for plant milk, reasonable prices
Cons: a vegan option on their sweet menu (not bakery), always room for more vegan options

Beautiful building with relaxed feel and tasty vegan choices - Edit
I went for the vegan Reuben and I’ve been trying to (and failing to) recreate it ever since. The ingredients are so fresh and you can tell a lot of thought is put into the restaurant and the food. The coffee is also gorgeous! It is hard to get a table though!

Fresh, tasty, satisfying - Edit
Great little venue, the outside seating is an excellent addition. I went in around 3pm and there wasn't much left but this is a sign that everything is fresh daily. They are also members of Too Good To Go so no food is wasted. The only draw back is access, the bakery is on the first floor with no alternative to stairs, however the staff are attentive and will come down to take orders for external dining and takeaway. I've only had a sandwich (Vegan Reuban see photos) so far, and although a little small it tasted great. I will be going back to sample their other stuff.

Bakery, eatery and gallery with great vegan options - Edit
This place is a bakery and eatery also serves as a gallery with varying art exhibitions. It offers lots of vegan options which are clearly labelled on the menu. I had the vegan breakfast which was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. However, it's definitely on the pricier side of Birmingham so I could only afford it once in a while.

Love the vegan breakfast sandwich - Edit
I really enjoy the breakfast sandwich served here! So much so I haven’t tried any of the other vegan options as I love it so much however it is on the pricey side being in the middle of Birmingham. Definitely recommend a visit though!

Fantastic food, must buy bread - Edit
The headlines you need to know: lots of vegan options, that are good quality. Bakery serves fresh bread daily and you NEED to buy some!
Read moreQuite unassuming from the outside, it’s been open 18 months now and you can very easily miss the doorway to Medicine. Head up the stairs (this place is not wheelchair accessible) and you’re greeted with some tables of bread and cakes (all available to buy) before the entrance to the restaurant/gallery space. Why gallery? - it’s also a space for art exhibitions.
Dining is at large open tables that can easily sit 15 or more, with smaller tables for individuals and small groups lining the outside wall on one side. Go to the tills to place your order.
Menu is very clear on veggie and vegan options (v and vv respectively). I had the all day breakfast and a freshly squeezed orange juice. No complaints about the food at all - fresh, hot, served fairly quickly and very tasty. My only complaint was it only came with 1 slice of toast (a tiny bit stingy for a place that makes it!).
If I had one complaint: on the day I visited, despite 6/7 people working, no one was clearing and cleaning tables, replenishing cutlery and so on. It wasn’t particularly busy so not sure why this was the case.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fresh bread available to buy, Unique space to eat in
Cons: Appear slow on housekeeping (cleaning tables etc)
