excellent falafals & platter - Edit

We loved our experience at Med Box Grill.

Very good food, huge portions.

We had the falafel wrap and the falafel platter.

We'll be back. Nice ambiance. Great service

Come for the falafel wrap, stay for the fries - Edit

The falafel wrap was very good and well-presented visually, which I think is important. It comes with Tahini on it, which the cooks confirmed is dairy-free. It also comes with a choice of side, either fries or salad.

The fries were surprisingly awesome. They were super crispy (with a “crunch” so loud the people at the next table could hear it), somehow tastier than average fries, and there were a lot of them.

The cooks confirmed there is no cross-contamination when cooking the falafel, fries & cauliflower. The falafel is cooked in its own gluten-free frier, and the fries/cauliflower have their own frier.

Pros: Staff is helpful to identify vegan options

Cons: No vegan labeling

Voted Minnesota’s Best Mediterranean Restaurant. - 2021 & 2022 Star Tribune - Edit

This restaurant is adjacent to the beautiful Prince mural in Chanhassen. The menu is not clearly marked with vegan options, but I emailed before hand. They were quick to respond and confirm what items are vegan: “Our hummus, falafel doesn’t contain any animal products. Our house salad, stuffed grape leaves, baba ghanouj and cilantro habanero hummus is also vegan. We use canola frying oil for falafel.” Their pita bread is vegan and the sauce for falafel appetizer is also vegan as it contains tahini, lemon juice, dill and salt only per management. You can also ask while there if not sure about certain menu items. The food is yummy! 💚
