Nice place, great menu - Edit
UPDATE - Now all vegan with updated menu *****
Read moreDelicious vegetarian (mostly vegan) food, all cooked fresh, and very friendly service. We had the fajita bowl and the chickpea bowl and will definitely go back to try more.
All cakes and cookies were vegan, so great if that's your thing!
Only downsides: A bit pricey for what it is (about £10 for buddha bowls) , and poor ventilation so smelled quite strongly of oil in there.

Warm atmosphere, friendly staff - Edit
I’ve eaten here several times and had takeaways during lockdown and it’s a firm favourite. There’s lots of choice, it’s all vegan and the milkshakes are heavenly. First time I ever tried banana blossom fish was here 💚💚💚

Colourful cafe - Edit
Gorgeous teriyaki Buddha bowl and delicious ‘fish’ tacos. Bright and colourful decor. Food was well cooked and beautifully presented. Lovely spot for casual early dinner. We really enjoyed it. Slightly pricey for lunchtime (£10-12) but seems reasonable for evening.

Cute little cafe/restaurant - Edit
Stopped in at this wonderful place that offers a nice variety of coffees, cakes and has a nice and varied lunch menu! We opted for the teriyaki tofu Buddha bowl and the meatless burger which were both great meals! We enjoyed the nice and very relaxed athmosphere. Will definitely visit again!

Little slow & not my favourite - Edit
I was a little disappointed with the food, and also it was really slow to come out which was again disappointing as I went for a breakfast and it ended up taking well over an hour.

Another Smithdown Delight! - Edit
Lovely new vegetarian café just up the road from Purple Carrot. Warm, cosy but spacious, with massive windows so you can watch the world go by. The very popular vegan Buddha bowl deserves its popularity, and the vegan Biscoff hot chocolate is an absolute joy. Also have to mention our server, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Another gem to add to the ever-growing list of vegan options in the area.

Cons: Serves eggs and dairy, but it's a start!
