Amazing dishes

Meat the vegans with a wide range of dishes from different regions.
This multi cuisine fully vegan restaurant has some decent Indian dishes as well as Jamaican, American and more

Highly recommend the Jamaican chicken and this biscoff cheesecake
So worth it! Love the crumbs and texture and it’s not too sweet which is great.
As a starter I had their vegan chicken Korean style which was nice and spicy and full of garlic (a bit burnt garlic though)
The plantain chips were amazing - first time I had them. As a main I had their Jamaican chicken! So flavourful and a lovely dish with a huge portion. Definitely a great restaurant I can highly recommend for any time of the day. Great location

Pros: Cheesecake , Jamaican

Great food, great atmosphere

Food was delicious! The chicken wings and the chocolate fudge tart were a blast!
Located in the beautiful Camden Market it was a quite an experience! We loved it! However, don‘t order the lime soda in the salty version! It‘s really, really, I mean really salty! Probably it was water from the Channel 😂

Pros: Food, Atmosphere

Great food and selection, but made us both sick

First of all, Meat the Vegans has a great and wide selection of food, and what we had was delicious, however, the next day we were both ill. We both had the same thing, so it must have been the food.
Since other reviews are so positive I'd like to think it's a one-off, but it's put me off coming back.

Pros: Delicious food, Huge selection

Cons: Made us ill

Amazing vegan food!

I am visiting London from Denmark with my girlfriend and we decided to visit Meat the Vegans and try their fish and chips. We absolutely loved it! And our waiter was very friendly. Great experience! I highly recommend it!

One of the best vegan restaurants ever

The food here was delicious, the meat and cheese substitutes are incredible. I wish I could've been hungry for 3 or 4 more dishes. We'll definitely come back.

Indie restaurant with great choices

Broad menu with different flavour profiles. We went with the Asian options; crispy chilli chicken, special fried rice and spring rolls. Food served as small plates so grab a few together. Crispy chicken was really spicy! (I loved it, my non-vegan partner was at his spice limit)
The “meat” is all mock (soy, gluten, seitan style) and there are straight vegetable dishes available if you don’t like analogues

Friendly

Relaxed & friendly place. Note that spicy food is really hot. More than twenty seats outside in vibrant location, twenty more inside. Some items n/a. No coffee. If you don't like it spicy-hot, tell them because even the nacho sauce is hot 🧯 Absolute top quality.

Naughty

You after a decent bit of filthy vegan food, it's here.
You can travel the world, if you order enough food. Mass of choice.
Food was great, came out fast and the waiting staff are on it.
Well done MtV!

Pros: Choice, Location, Price

Don’t pick the „Mexican“ food

Cannot recommend the Mexican section on their menu. The quaesedillas contained peas and carrots from the freezer (that’s not anything that belongs into a Mexican taco). The beans were straight from the tin.

No where to be seen: pico de gallos, black beans, sour creme, lime, guacamole or anything that would have made it edible

Cons: Mexican dishes with the sadest ingredients

Flavourful, Generous Portions & Super Friendly Vibes

Had a great meal at Meat The Vegans!

The chaat was a flavour bomb – crunchy, spicy samosas cooled down with tangy yogurt and plenty of tamarind sauce. The Pad Thai was a highlight too: zingy, satisfying, with tasty vegan chicken.

Big portions across the board — definitely didn’t leave hungry. Ended the meal with a Jaffa Cake that was deliciously super (yes, that’s a thing). Moist, rich, and the perfect sweet finish.

Also, the staff were lovely. Special thanks to Sai for being so friendly and helpful, especially when we had to move inside because of the rain.

Would definitely recommend for anyone craving comforting, flavourful vegan food!

Pros: Punjabi Chaat, Chick’n Pad Thai, Jaffa Cake

Brilliant with so much to choose from

A little spot in Camden offering a diverse range of cuisines. We tried the eight treasure fried rice, fish n chips and soft shell chick'n tacos and each was packed with flavour. The tacos were filling, a little spicy and tasted amazing. The fried rice was spicy but tasted great and the fish and chips had a great crispy batter and the chips were crispy too! We all enjoyed our meal here and the staff seemed very friendly.
The only issue is we were a group of three, so we had to sit inside, and on a warm day, it was a little stuffy.

Pros: Diverse range of food, Full of flavour

Cons: Stuffy inside

So so good! Potential for Best vegan London spot?

Absolutely love the fact that this place serves a variety of cuisines and some more harder to come across veganised dishes. My non vegan friend also loved the food. I 100% recommend the vegan lamb rogan Josh and the Thai green curry. Not bad prices. Lovely cocktails and really helpful service. Can’t wait to try more on my next London visit!

Pros: Variety of dishes/cuisines , Delicious , Lovely service

Surprisingly good

Update June 2025: still great!

Original: Really very tasty food, which was surprising given the variety in their menu. The samosa chaat and chips were particularly nice

Super Essen

Chicken 65

I’ve never had chicken 65 before because I’ve never seen a meatless version but I tried it here and it was really good. It is actually a starter but I ordered it with rice and then it was very filling. Nice atmosphere in the market as well, but lots of space.

Disappointed - I wouldn't recommend

🤵🏾‍♀️ Service
Very slow (for a few clients), not particularly nice.

👩‍🍳 Food
Extremely basic. The menu is full of ao many things but nothing standing out, just basic curry, meh spring rolls ... the rest was ok.

🏩 Atmosphere
Really nice obviously you are in the market with a little terrace so that was nice.

💡 Originality
They just have a lot of things, but i dont see the originality in offering mexican, english, thai, carribean...
Just a bunch of

💸 Prices : expensive for the quality of food.

Pros: Terrace

Cons: Service, Food quality

The food here was nice, unfortunately a lot of menu items were missing meaning we had to reconsider our choice. That said, what we had was nice.
Reasonably priced and the staff were lovely.

Great place!

Everyone enjoyed their food. We even ordered meals to go to have the next day. I can’t believe how big their menu is, such a variety of dishes! The food was great! We even tried a milkshake for dessert and it was so good! My husband who is not fully vegan enjoyed his meal a lot and it was even up there on his list of top foods for our whole trip. The area is very lively with music and lots of people and stuff going on.

Pros: Tasty food, Variety of food, Fun decor

Cons: Have to use the public bathrooms which cost $

Heaven - the chicken wings are insane!!

So are the milkshakes and the vegan eight treasure fried rice, which contains numerous delicious meat mocks, but the chicken wings are amazing!!!!
You must go there if you get to London!
