Hygiene was seriously neglected. Our table was sticky and covered in food scraps; we had to ask at the bar before they cleaned it. The smell was also off-putting. The food was very unimaginative and could easily have been made by a child. I ordered a set meal, thinking I’d be getting a hot dog, mac and cheese and chips. But I ended up getting everything all mixed together in a wrap.

The food was really good and the portion sizes were more than we expected. Lovely bartenders and a great atmosphere/decor. Nothing bad, even the bathroom was clean 😅

Don't order too much, but that was entirely our fault (we wanted to test so many things on the menu...)
They have wonderful vegan milkshakes, which are originally with rum, but you can order them alcohol-free. No mocktails on the menu - but we didn't ask for any, so perhaps they do have them?
Pros: Happy fast food 🤤, Lovely people, The decor!

Cool pub with a large all-vegan menu that includes burgers, loaded fries, vegan mac and cheese, desserts and more. They also have a range of vegan cocktails, and my personal favorites are the vegan milk shakes (with or without alcohol). Also host events like weekly pub quizzes and movie nights.

Best vegan burgers in town! - Edit
Amazing all-vegan pub with fab staff. There’s a monthly special burger that’s always really inventive, and the menu is full and varied. Proper tasty vegan junk food - the only downside is how expensive the place is (£7 for a pint of Neck Oil 😩), but one of my favourite places nonetheless! The weekly pub quiz is also fab!

Last year I had lunch. This year dinner. At dinnertime the music is loud. But it is a pub so that’s not strange. But the lunch time is more fore me.
The food is delivered fast as well, that’s nice!

Hip and happening all-vegan pub! I had buffalo chickn tenders and slaw, while my partner had a burger, and we both enjoyed. Service was a little strange, but not bad at all. Definitely a casual place, great for a quick bite and pint.

Small place so get a seat early if there's a group of you. I had Mac and cheeZe and kebab type meat really tasty and filling. Beers are good too. It's literally on the menu so when you arrive in the pub I thought I was lost but they gave me the menu. Ill be back

We had two amazing burgers, milkshakes, and the fried cheesecake, and everything was delicious. The staff was friendly, and there were board games you could grab and play for free. It was a bit loud, the Meadows Tap is actually a bar, but we didn't mind. Prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food was good. Great fast food in Edinburgh!

Staff trying to trick us into paying a mandatory tip gets this place as few stars as possible. This isn't America. In this country, If you do your service job exceedingly well, your reward is a paycheck. Tips are not to be expected. That is not a mandatory part of our culture. This, it cannot be stated clearly enough, was the fault of the bar staff, who was blunt and intense. The same bar staff who couldn't be bothered to serve us our food, so the kitchen staff had to bring it to us. There's no excuse for this kind of behaviour as the place was far from busy.

Decent food. But a weird experience that felt unpleasant - over basically nothing! Ordered food for 4, including slaw. When the food was brought to the table there was no slaw. I mentioned this, and was told with what seemed to me an accusatory tone, ‘you didn’t pay for it’. Eventually the waiter said that I had ordered it but it had been missed off the total and he thought someone had checked it. Ok, all fine, but there was no apology and this odd undertone that I had done something wrong. In addition, they brought and charged for an extra portion of chips I didn’t order, and the default tip added to the bill at the bar was 15% - a bit steep given the issues that would follow. None of the mistakes were major, but the weird defensive attitude was unpleasant and embarrassing so won’t be back.

Beautiful vegan dirty burgers and fries. The lasagne burger and bites were so tasty and the Parm geddon chick*n burger (with mac cheese, Parma and pizza sauce) amazing. The Bruce burger is fantastic. The kebab fries are so tasty as are the mac cheese and lasagna loaded fries.

Lasagne baws - a very distinct, strong lasagne taste, really brilliant. EXTREMELY filling haha, so beware if you want to try lots of other stuff

Deep fried cheesecake was SPECTACULAR, omg. I'd originally wanted the deep fried mars bar but it was out of stock and I'm glad because I've never had a dessert like the deep fried cheesecake and it was just brilliant. I was in literal pain from eating so much but managed the dessert because it was that good haha.
Dirty, dirty food, but if you want that then you couldn't do it better! 🤣
Service was friendly and fun and they welcomed our lovely dog with water and pats 🥰 comfortable and lovely decor, nice ambient lighting and music not too loud etc 👌

great atmosphere and ambience, but more importantly the food was amazing. great selection of vegan burgers, loaded fries, etc. the MVP were these deep fried lasagne balls which were amazing. i havent come across anything like these before, and am worried i never will again. also got the pizza fries and a kebab which were both mega.
