Frustrating as I write a lengthy review and it was deleted. Let’s try again with more brevity.
Read moreThis is a new MDI market as of June 2024, operating 9-1 on Saturdays in front of Salisbury’s. They have only local vendors with a weekly rotation. MDI Herbal Bakery - 100% vegan - is a weekly regular. As is Middle Earth Mushrooms - also a vegan vendor (she sells vegan pierogis in addition to locally grown shrooms.)
Wonderful community vibe and lots more to peruse with local gourmet finds in Salisbury’s store and vegan options next door at Mother’s Kitchen. (All run by the same folks.)
*Note, I have not seen evidence of live animals for sale.
Pros: Vegan + organic options, Community market (low tourism)
Cons: Porta potty at far end of parking lot
