Best Philly Cheese Steak!

Get the Philly Cheese Steak, it's incredible! Also, their garlic mayo is the best I've ever had. Extensive vegan menu and they have signs in the store saying that everything vegan is cooked in separate fryers/pans, which is really reassuring! Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly.

Pros: Large vegan menu

Cons: Take out only

Best vegan chippy!

Was so delicious! Went 2 nights in a row to get curry cheese chips! The chickpea kebab was great. Also enjoyed the battered burger in a bun and the onion rings

Amazing vegan and gluten free

Amazing vegan pizzas and burgers. We got two gf vegan pizzas and a gf vegan burger. I would give a full 5 stars but it doesn’t let me as this isn’t a registered vegan restaurant. But it deserves 5 stars. Cashew cheese is incredible. You can really tell the owners love their food and staff as the staff are so friendly. It’s hard for me to find gf and vegan so this place is a god send! Super tasty 💕

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Fast food vegan, Gluten free pizzas and burgers

great comfort food!

I had the Philly cheese steak meal deal which means it comes with chips and a drink. The cheese steak was delicious, but it was very heavy. The chips were great and the portion was very large. I was in a group of 7, so it took quite a while to get our food, but they were also very close to opening time, so there was only one poor guy working at the start. There are about 4 little stools at 2 little counters, so definitely works best as a takeaway. We took our dinner and sat in St. Stephen's Green as the weather was excellent.

Pros: extensive menu, clear what is vegan and what is no

Cons: no labelling of allergens

Love this place!

My first vegan takeaway and I went with a pizza and some chips. It was amazing and so good! More takeaways should adapt this way and offer vegan options.

real junk food!

This may be the only restaurant that offers all the greasy vegan junk food that you crave after a night of drinking. Great pizza and kabob, but not much space for eating in and no toilet.

6 stars if I could

I love love love the idea of this place. I don’t know why every vegan hub place has to be all healthy new age. This place has nuggets, cheese fries, curry fries, sausages. And not the made from mashed corn, chickpeas and mushroom faux meat. I’m talkin good ole soy/ seitan/ tofu faux meat, the kind that actually tastes like the real thing. I came here twice in one day. Once for dinner and then again for a little drunky snack on the way home. It was so cheap and everything I ever wanted in life.

Amazing vegan junk food!

Husband was so keen to come and I was hesitant but we loved it. So many options! We’d had a couple of cocktails and wanted something greasy.
We had the pizza, double cheeseburger, nuggets, onion rings and chips with curry sauce. Loved everything. We weren’t into the chips with curry but loved everything else. Garlic mayo is delicious! It’s not anything fancy and there are only a couple of stools to sit on so you can’t really go for dinner but good after a couple of drinks or to take away and eat at home.

Pros: Huge junk food menu, Quick

I could fly over just for this again

My my my, did I have a blast here. Had to get some help from my mates since I broke my ancle earlier the day playing rugby so brought 3 carnivores and 1 vegetarian. Well we sort of tried everything vegan on the menu and since I was the guest of honour I had a taste of everything.
From Pizza to Kebab and from Fries with cheese and mayonaise to the burgers delicious , what a treat.
Too bad I could only eat here once.

Pros: Great vegan grub, Good price, Open untill late night

Cons: The non-vegan food, No seating

Very good junk food

If you're into fried vegan junk food, this is your place. Separate vegan menu, separate frying pan, pretty cheap stuff. The vegan burgers and sausages are from Moodley's Manor if I'm not mistaken. Double cheese burger is the way to go.

Pros: Cheap vegan junk food

Vegan 'Chipper'

This place is a very welcome addition to the Vegan and vegetarian choices in Dublin. As other reviewers have said, it is simply a small take away 'fish n chip' shop which has decided to provide a separate vegan menu (on a chalk board, hand written in the neatest handwriting I have EVER seen! ) They have an impressive range of meat-free vegan options, freshly prepared in separate areas and in separate fryers. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. I had the lentil burger which came in a floury bap garnished with basil pesto, garlic mayo, fresh tomato, onion and lettuce. This is the perfect option for a quick bite or a take away burger if you don't fancy paying the French-Riviera prices some of the other veggie cafes in Dublin are charging these days :)

Pros: cheap and cheerful, good variety , helpful staff

Cons: small, few seats, everything is fried (well it is a chipper!! ), gets busy late at night

great Vegan take-away

As mentioned you get your typical take away food, burgers, fries, pizza and etc. And so many vegan options for a very affordable price. I had the black bean burger twice and it was a typical "I don't even notice it is Vegan" because it is just a good old simple and tasty bean burger with sauce, veggies and a nice bun, got some fries with a tasty garlic/basil mayo with it aswell. didn't try the pizza yet though. But if you feel lazy, cheap and not in a health craze one should definitely pay it a visit!

The First vegan menu in a Chipper in Ireland

This is the first and only chipper that caters for Vegans with a massive menu, 'cause we get hungry too'. It also has it's own vegan pan!!! There is no vegan option like this late night and furthermore, I often feel that vegan food is too expensive, McGuinness's Takeway is priced right. So much to choose from, whole food options as well as mock meats like battered sausage, battered burgers that I promise you will love! They chip their own chips, make their own dough and sauce for pizza, There is bacon!!! vegan bacon of course! Garlic Mayo, Vegan Cheese, you name it, it's there!!

Pros: great location, food is very well priced, whole food options

Cons: small, no seating, no bathrooms, love for it to be open ealier than 5p,
