Out of Veg Fish & Chips

Limited quantities available, I guess. We stopped in for dinner but were told that they were all out of vegan fish and chips. The falafel burger was nothing to write home about and my Omni companion didn’t much enjoy her burger either.

Only go with your meat eating friends or when drinking is the primary goal

One of their fryers was broken when I visited so the only vegan items they had were a salad and a burger. They usually have vegan fish and chips and it wasn't clear to me if they could usually make the haggis vegan since it was labeled as vegetarian. I was there for the whiskey flights and vibes and because I was tired but it's a typical expensive tourist place with only sad vegan food

Haggis spring rolls

The haggis spring rolls were great and staff very friendly. Loved the interior and would definitely come back :).

Lovely ambiance & several great vegan options

This restaurant & bar feels very Harry Potter-esque, as one would expect with the name. Staff was very friendly when asking to confirm that the meal I ordered was vegan. Delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Prices are middle-of-the road which was surprising, as I expected the prices to be a bit more on the high end here, given that it's right off of the Royal Mile.

Pros: Very helpful staff, Delicious food , Lovely atmostphere

Cons: More vegan options would be great
