Yummy

They have a few yummy vegan options. I really enjoyed the falafel salad and my boyfriend loved the rice bowl (the vegan rice option is really good). Tahini is the only vegan sauce, fyi.

A Good Quick Option

While maybe not super authentic in its Mediterranean-ness, it was a pretty good “fast food” place with many clearly indicated vegan options.

Pros: Vegan items on menu clearly indicated, Fresh, fast, and tasty, Multiple vegan options

Cons: More of a fast food experience

It’s good

We called in and picked up to go. Call was answered promptly, they were friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options. We did Al a carte falafel with tahini sauce, tabouleh, Lebanese salad and lentil soup. The falafel was lightly crunchy on the outside and tahini sauce was good. The tabouleh salad and Lebanese salad needed a little more salt for my taste, but were good. The lentil soup was creamy and nicely seasoned. The soup comes with wedge a lemon, which really brightens up the dish. I would go here again.

Weird Hummus

I've only been here once so maybe it was a fluke, but I ordered hummus and it was a strange runny texture. Maybe that's the preference where the chef/owner/recipe developer learned to make hummus, but I love a good thick, smooth, creamy hummus. The flavor wasn't any better than the texture and I wouldn't go back. I didn't get a chance to try other things on the menu, so maybe there are other good menu items or if prefer a runny hummus, this might be your place. The service wasn't great either.

Pros: Good location

Cons: Poor service, Mediocre food, Not great looking food

Boise staple

I always get the falafel sandwich with hummus when I’m in town. Pretty cheap and always good service.

Mediocre

Was excited after the other review to get some Mediterranean. Ordered a falafel gyro with tahini sauce, side salad, and dolmas. Dolmas were decent though it was weird they came hot(Is that normal?). Side salad was bitter. And the gyro they smashed the falafel up in to pieces so it was no longer crispy, and the tahini sauce was also bitter. Odd there was only lettuce on it and no tomatoes or cucumber. Pretty flavorless through and through, will not likely eat here again.

Soooo yummy!

I am new to Boise and have been on the hunt for authentic and delicious Mediterranean food. This is the spot! Tabouleh, dolmas, pita, and falafel were all very delicious. The tahini sauce is good too, I appreciated having a vegan sauce option. Will definitely be returning!

Pros: Good value, Generous portions, Expansive menu

Cons: Serves meat
