Small all-in-one mercantile with a nice selection of vegetarian and organic foods, sundries, and beverages. Also sells clothes and footwear. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-6:00pm.
So many vegan groceries and reasonable prices. - Edit
They have all sorts of vegan groceries that I would maybe expect to find in a city but not in a small town.
Frozen tamales and burritos, field roast sausages, beyond burgers, oatly ice cream, silk coffee creamer, all manner of snacks and produce and condiments.
Seven different flavors of kraut? An array of vinegars, on tap? Freshly baked sourdough? They have it all.
This place has a lovely vibe and a decent selection of healthy foods. They also sell freshly baked bread loafs in the morning. Mine was still warm when I picked it up.
The store is expensive but the bakery is amazing. They had spectacular vegan brownies when we went and their baguettes are also delicious. There is also beyond products, non dairy ice creams, daiya pizzas and more.
This is a great little place, but none of the baked goods or sandwiches are vegan. Read carefully before using the bulk bins if you are vegan! This store is friendly, but not especially vegan friendly. They do have some fresh, local produce in season, and if you leave with incredibly delicious carrots, you leave happy, right?! If you happen to eat cheese, they do carry Sunny Pine Farm cheeses. The Sunny Pine folks treat their goats with the upmost care and respect and I consider their products to be the most ethical animal products I know of, even though I myself am vegan. They also have a pretty good beer selection here!
