The Buffalo cauliflower are bomb! The mushroom risotto was tasty but the rice didn’t have the typical consistency of risotto.

What an amazing find, went here twice during my stay in Riga. Vegan pasta carbonara was awesome and I also really enjoyed the soy ''breadslices'' in white-wine sauce, the sweet potato purée melted on the tongue. I would advise everyone to visit this place since it is also really affordable. Will have to come back one day to try some of the burgers on the menu. The only thing that can be improved is are the chairs outside, they are not really comfortable.

It's been my most visited cafe so far, usually to indulge in cakes and other baked goods but their other food items have not disappointed either. Great to grab something on the go too.
Read moreOnly thing that has disappointed is their hot drinks, other than tea, which neither me or my non-vegan companions have enjoyed, no matter which drink and milk combo we pick.

One of the best vegan places in Riga, especially if you’re looking for cakes and pastry. They offer lunch menu as well which changes daily (or at least few times during a week). But the highlight is of course desserts. They have a diverse variety so that anyone can find something for themselves. They also offer sparkling and still water for free, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Perfect place to meet up with friends or read a book. Highly recommend!

Have been to Maza Terapija several times now and love it. Great vegan food! Lunch offer and dinner on weekdays, breakfast on saturdays and sundays. They also offer a good selection of vegan pastries and cakes.

During our visit to Riga, we couldn't get enough of this cosy vegan cafe. From tasty cakes to amazing pastries, and a lovely breakfast menu - we only wish we had more time to spend here to try everything on offer.

Best cozy vegan cafe in Riga - Edit
As a person who lives in Riga I can definitely recommend this place. We visit this one (and Terapija) quite often compare to other vegan spots in city. This place is mostly about pastries and cakes however they have few nice options in their menu and also nice lunch and dinner menu. My personal favourite is pumpkin-tomato curry with black rice.

My boyfriend and I visited here a couple of days ago for an early lunch and to kill some time before check in. It's a great place to chill! We had a toasted sandwich (one with tempeh and one with tofu), two black Americanos and 2 slices of cake for about €15. My boyfriend's piece of cake was so big that we could have shared it. He didn't want to share it though because it was too delicious! It was kind of like a snickers bar as a cake. We chilled for about 90 mins because it wasn't too busy and the staff didn't seem to mind at all.

A country-style Latvian atmosphere. A range of sweet and savoury pastries. The pastry fillings are really small and the quality of the ingredients is pretty lowest common denominator. The popular Napoleon ‘flaky pastry’ was soggy. I tried three different sweet pastries, left all uneaten. The sloppy attitude of the waitress may have been due to her being busy eating at the counter.

After going to Bhajan, we came here to see the pastries and cakes. And the previous reviews were totally right! We had a Tiramisu and a Coconut Chocolate Pie, both were wonderful! I've never eaten Tiramisu before, so the experience was unforgettable! I wanna come back tomorrow to have dinner 😍

Perfect vegan cakes in Riga! - Edit
One of my favorite places in Riga. It offers many cakes that all look appealing. I took the millefeuilles and it was perfect. My girlfriend took a dessert with avocado and tapioca that was really good too. I also took two grilled sandwiches, one with tempeh and one with vegan sausages: both were very tasty and comforting. Prices are low, the place is very pleasant and the staff is friendly. You must stop here when visiting Riga!

The cake selection is just absolute vegan heaven. Tallinn is totally missing a place like that. Had some pastries, snickers, bounty, some kind of tiramisu coffee cake and a tempeh sandwich and everything was super delicious! The atmosphere of the place is so nice, cosy and hipsterish 😊 definitely recommend and will be revisiting soon! Oh, and the prices were really good as well. 10/10
