A jewel in Montreal - Edit
In Montreal and this city amazes me with its many vegan options. This is one of the jewel of MTL perhaps. Nice cozy atmosphere and great people on the counter and love that this is not a chain, but rather a small restaurant.

Pogos - two freshly fried pogos in a thick hotdog. The batter perfect and satisfied a craving that I had for a long time. If you love hotdogs you will love this. Used with the hot sauce provided on the counter-The “forbidden fruit” - it is hot! Loved it.
Crunch Wrap Supreme - the moment I saw this I had to try this. The CWS was amazing. The Vegan ground beef was so flavourful. A must try on my list.
Wish I could have also tried their poutine, but next time.

Read moreWe had the bbq sandwich but unfortunately they didnt have gluten free buns so my spouse got lettuce ($12) which had a good flavor but was very tough. I got the tofu Nashville ($12) which was really good but had the same issue of being a little tofu. I got a small poutine ($9) which was exactly what I wanted from Canada as a vegan.
For drinks we got a hibiscus drink, cream soda, and black cherry ($3) which balanced well with everything we ate.
At the time they were out of ice cream which was pretty disappointing because vegan milkshakes are my spouses weakness. I wanted to get the fried oreos ($4 for 4 I believe) but I became too full lol.
The restaurant has a cool vibe with cool music and great decorations but has limited seating.
I'm glad places like this exist. A couple things taste wise and availability but overall fun!

I really hate to trash a vegan resto, but Maynard was a disappointment. We checked their menu online before going, and decided we wanted the pleurotes, frites kimchi, and Oreo Frits. When we got to the restaurant and went to place our order, we couldn’t get any of the items we wanted. They had run out of mushrooms, kimchi, and Oreos. I can understand running out of fresh vegetables like mushrooms. But kimchi probably has a shelf life of years, and Oreos last for months. I am certainly not an expert on running a restaurant, but wouldn’t you make sure you have a stock of the shelf stable items that are essential for your menu? We ended up ordering the tofu Nashville sandwich and poutine. The sandwich was okay. The tofu itself was on the dry side and would really have benefited from a creamy mayo type sauce. The poutine was decent. The fries were good, and so was the gravy. The cheese was odd. Bottom line, the food was okay but uninspired. If I’m ever in Montreal again I might give them another shot, but I would definitely call first to confirm they have Oreos.

Came across this place with my sister while we were actually heading to another restaurant. Decided to go here instead (because it was strictly vegan). So glad to have found it! The menu is short but everything sounded great. I had the wrap and coleslaw, which was delicious, and my sister had the Impossible Burger. I'd never tried one before and it was perfectly cooked (she gave me a bite)! We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with Maynard and the server who was there. Had a really nice lunch, one which stood out in our trip to Montreal. #Veganuary

All vegan, weekend brunch fare was delicious -we enjoyed the berry crepes (stack of berry pancakes with syrup), breakfast burrito & hashbrowns. Can’t wait to return! Bonus: they open at 9am daily (not at 11 as posted on this app).

Read moreJ'ai commandé la salade fraise/rhubarbe (voir photo) qui est délicieuse, avec aussi des feuilles d'épinard et de la menthe une sauce maison. Par contre, la quantité n'est pas suffisante pour constituer un repas entier : il faut compléter avec des frites ou autre... Très bonne salade, mais trop petite pour les 10$ qu'elle coûte.
Ma copine a commandé le tofu Nashville, que j'ai trouvé plutôt réussi même si un peu simple (on aimerait goûter de la tomate en plus du pain, du tofu et des pickles...). Les frites sont vraiment bonnes.
Attention : seulement deux tables pour les groupes de 4 à 5/6 personnes, une table pour 2, et 4 places au bar.
Pros: Bonne salade estivale, Joli restaurant

I heard they had the best vegan poutine in Montreal and I have to say it was delicious! Sadly the fried oyster mushrooms weren't our thing. It may have been delivery that messed with the texture but the Buffalo was also quite intense for me. Over all still a great meal.
