Unique and delicious!

There is a separate vegetarian menu and they are vegan conscious. Food is fantastic and fresh.

Make sure guacamole is vegan (they use sour cream in regular). It's very good.

I have to recommend the pepian. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten! It's the chefs grandma's recipe and it is simply fantastic.

It's rare to see an entire separate menu for vegetarian/vegan. I was alone this time but last visit w a party of four we each loved separate dishes.

Pros: Separate and delicious menu, Good service, Reasonable price

Cons: Try it!

Ask for separate menu

Separate veg menu - everything vegan is clearly labeled. Surprisingly flavorful and the plantain app with bean dip was great!

They asked if sour cream was okay which made me a bit nervous, but as far as I could tell everything came out vegan.

Unique Latin cuisine restaurant

Separate vegetarian/vegan menu. Vegan options limited, but you do have some choices. One vegan dessert. The black bean and corn salad was good, and a huge portion.

Pros: Dedicated vegan choices

A Pleasant Surprise

I didn’t expect to enjoy the food here as much as I did. They have a full vegan menu that can be requested when you check in, and it has many filling options. I ordered the vegetable fajitas, which sound basic but had very delicious individual components. This was a solid choice for dinner with omnis.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Inexpensive, Pleasant wait staff

Separate vegetarian/vegan menu and great service

We ate here recently. We were pleasantly surprised. They had a separate vegetarian/vegan menu. We ordered a Mayan curry and rice dish and a vegetarian chimichanga. Both were pretty good. The service was excellent and very attentive. The restaurant is lively and beautiful.

Pros: separate veg menu

Great place, definitely recommend!

Great experience! My boyfriend got the Vegetable Pepian which was AMAZINGLY flavorful! I had the veggie tacos which were good just not too flavorful. Next time I would choose the vegetable pepian. The chips and salsa were amazing. They also have vegan desserts and an entire vegetarian/vegan menu which was great. The service was super friendly and I would absolutely recommend! Just ask for the vegan menu, everything is clearly labeled.

Pros: Vegetable pepian was amazing, Vegam desserts, Great service

Cons: Tacos were a little bland but not bad

Not sure if I trust the kitchen.

Decent food. Good drinks.

So, we tried this place because they have brunch. Well, there are no vegan options for brunch. But they do have a lunch / dinner menu with several vegan and vegetarian options. I was slightly annoyed because my VEGAN black bean quesadilla was served with sour creme even though it is clearly marked vegan on the menu. All in all the food was good but I'm not sure if I trust them. I do not think they fully understand or take seriously, vegans and vegetarians.

Cons: Don't trust the kitchen

Meat in vegan dishes

We have gotten takeout from the vegan menu multiple times and have found meat in the black beans that come with the vegan veggie tacos, meat in the vegan veggie tacos, non-vegan sauce with the yuca frita from the vegan menu (you can tell, the vegan mojo sauce is very watery, non-vegan is obviously a mayo base). The pepian has never had meat in it though. It’s delicious. It’[censored] or miss. We don’t order from here anymore though, because it’s not worth the risk.

Pros: Wonderful pepian, Plenty of food

Cons: Meat in vegan dishes, Expensive

Guac is no longer vegan!

Vegan menu declared guacamole vegan, however. after I ordered it the waiter said they now add sour cream to it but never changed the menu to note that. Otherwise food was good. Just left a bad taste in my mouth that restaurant knowingly didn’t bother to change the menu.

Surprisingly good

Mayan kitchen was listed in HappyCow but had no reviews but we decided to take the family there and roll the dice. Beautiful interior and very clean and was surprised to see a dedicated vegan menu with vegetarian dishes. It’s nice to see a variety of entrées that are completely vegan inside dishes and even desserts. Fantastic and delicious.

Pros: Dedicated vegan menu, Dedicated vegetarian menu, Great service

Cons: Pay for parking
