Disappointing - no egg tart available - Edit
This is by far the only pure vegan bakery which I managed to find in Hong Kong. I am not sure if there are many others, as I could not manage to find them online. The only pastry which I was looking forward to eat at their store was their vegan egg tart but was unfortunately not available for immediate order. According to the staff, one needs to pre-order this item at least 3 days in advance. This was downright disappointing as I had been craving for vegan egg tarts for years.
Read moreThere were at least around 10 different pastry and 5 different drinks selling. We had ordered their Caramel Lava Tart for $32, Mini lemon loaf for $25, Blueberry Muffin for $25, Crookie (Chocolate chip) for $40 and a cup of Chocolate drink for $50. This costed us $172 in total for an overpriced breakfast. The taste were just decent, not in particular very delicious.
Hence, I would not highly recommend this bakery. Moreover, there were barely any customers strolling in nor making purchase at this store at the time of our visit in the morning. There were a few tables and chairs next to the bakery store where we settled down to eat, and there were only 2 other customers drinking their coffee and chit-chatting. We had visited their branch at PCCW Tower at Quarry Bay which is a high-end commercial district full of offices.
Pros: Polite service, Clean
Cons: Unavailability of vegan egg tart, Considerably expensive

Fully vegan as far as I can tell - Edit
Maybe the wine is an exception, but every single food item I saw here was vegan. Went for the vegan pineapple pistachio bun (absolutely fantastic) and the mushroom cream cheeze sandwich (a little dry and light on the cheeze, good otherwise). Pricing is very reasonable for Hong Kong and in line with similar cafes.

Vegan Egg tart have to pre oder - Edit
We came here just to try their egg tart but have to pre order. I don't think it's a smart business move.

Fab vegan find - Edit
All sorts of inventive plant based pastries. The ones we tried were all yummy. They also do great toasties and a range of dishes for lunch options. Really good coffee too. NB you need to inside the building to find Maya.

We came to this part of the city to see the Monster Building but I think we will be back again just to have their mushroom sandwich.

Great vegan baked treats - Edit
We got two things each for breakfast along with a milky drink and it made for a good hearty start to the day. I got a chocolate chip crookie and an egg custard tart. My partner got the chocolate croissant and the peanut butter crookie. Everything but the croissant were warmed up in the oven for us before being served.
Read moreI really liked the egg custard tart. I've never really eaten eggs so this is something completely alien to me. I enjoyed the texture of the thick set custard and it had a good sweet flavour. The pastry kept a bit of crispness which is good considering the filling.
The chocolate chip crookie was great. The pastry of the croissant was good and crispy on the outside and nice and light and fluffy inside. There was some generous filling inside and on top that made for a tasty treat. The peanut butter crookie was similar. There was a layer of peanut butter and chocolate on top and good filling on the inside too.
The chocolate croissant felt a bit more like a bread than a pastry and wasn't as good as the others. Maybe it suffered from not being heated up. There was a good generous chocolate layer on the top but no filling.
Almost everything here was vegan, I think one thing was labelled as not being vegan. We asked for drinks with oat milk so I'm not sure if the default milk is dairy milk.

Amazing spot - Edit
I didn’t see anything not vegan. Maybe they offer cows milk? But it’s probably 90% vegan. My food was amazing and there were so many options. I have to come back.

Nice modern looking vegan bakery - Edit
I went there to try the egg tart— although I’ve never actually had a non-vegan egg tart so I can’t really compare, the crust was flaky and crisp.

Good range of vegan pastries - Edit
Quite a range of vegan pastries, with other dishes suitable for having lunch or teatime. I tried the chocolate coated croissant. The outside was flaky, inside soft layers, tasted pretty good. HKD26 seemed reasonable to me.
Read moreService could be better - tried to understand the main ingredient in the vegan egg tart and they just said a few times it’s vegan but weren’t able to elaborate on whether it’s soy / coconut / nut based.

Not great - Edit
I was really excited to try this place as I heard they had vegan versions of HK pastries that I grew up on. I had their milk tea egg tart and pineapple bun, but both were disappointing. The egg tart was a bit burnt, soggy and the texture was too firm and rubbery (maybe from being stale). The pineapple bun was like a dry and sweet bread bun with a bland crust.

Amazing food - Edit
All vegan bakery with Hong Kong classics. Unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because it's falsely listed as only vegetarian
