Pretty little restaurant - Edit
Really tasty food, not cheap as street food but way cheaper than many other vegan restaurants.
Read moreLucky me to find out they sell vegan cinnamon rolls, fresh coconuts (in plastic bags sadly).
I tried the Khao soy and would try something else next time, my partner tried the Tom yam soup with glass noodles and the pork was something impressive.
Friendly staff who speak little english, be patient and friendly.
Definitely Ill comeback!
Pros: Cinnamon rolls, Tom yam, Vegan pork
Cons: Close at 9pm

Smaller restaurant, but the same big flavor - Edit
Came here because I remember the main May Veggie Home restaurant used to be not far from here a few years ago. This place is small, 6 small tables. I came here at 3pm on a Thursday and only one table was taken. Bright, nice, fresh interior. Food does not disappoint. I had vietnamese spring rolls, a Khao SOI, and Thai ice tea. Top marks for all three!

Bangkok Vegan Express - Edit
Fun, bright and clean vegan eatery with counter service. They have a mix of veganized Thai staples and western comfort food. I chose two of the most popular items: yam sapp gai grob and pad kra prao. Both were very tasty and I finished things off with orange cake for dessert. A perfect place for a quick meal or takeout. Very inexpensive.

Highly recommend
Fresh rolls
Dumplings (house made)
Yam sap tofu
And their spicy meat which is recommended on the menu for 159 no rice
Love everything
And by the way best mango smoothies !
Delicious
It is bigger than expected inside with quite a few seating options. The food is cheap 89thb and really good! Pad Kra Pao, schnitzel with salad and dumplings were insanely good
Love the dipping sauce of the dumplings as well
Friendly service, ambience is more like a diner, but clean and welcoming.
They do have small desserts, but I didn’t try them.
All in all a great spot for some delicious vegan Thai food! Will be back for sure

Little sibling of a classic eatery - Edit
We’ve been fans of May’s since the original location long ago. This smaller “Express” location offers some of the staples from May’s larger menu, though without some of the dishes that make the latter special (e.g. the Mieng Kham, the Japanese dishes, and the greater variety of Thai dishes). Fortunately, the flavors are still good here.
Read moreNote that the house-made drinks here are served in plastic cups. We hope in the future they will reduce plastic waste by using real glasses instead. Meanwhile, we’ll happily drink only the fresh coconuts.

High end Thai vegan food at low end prices. Very stylish and clean, small vegan restaurant on the 2nd floor. Nice menu. Dine-in or take away, but no table service. Order at the counter. Great food and good value.

Happy friendly small vegan place - Edit
This vegan restaurant is about a ten-minute walk from the Asok SkyTrain/Metro station. I had a little trouble finding it, the directions link on Happy Cow didn't send me to the right place. So while you have wifi, put the address into your phone, rather than clicking on the directions link.
Read moreOnce I got there (second floor in a corner mall) I found a small, friendly place. Place your order at the desk and find a table. They have free wifi.
The mint drink was incredible. Since I do everything I can to avoid single-use plastic glasses, I asked them to find me something in real glass to drink out of and they did, which I found very accommodating. Next time I will bring my hard plastic water bottle with me and ask them to use that instead. You should do the same.
The food came and was great and affordable. Nearby is a party street and if you are planning on going out drinking in the neighborhood, but you want a solid vegan meal first to fill your stomach before you drink, this is a great nearby option.
Note - I wrote this in August 2023, but visited the restaurant in late June 2023

Good meal on a budget - Edit
This little restaurant is on the second floor just past the Maxvalue store. It serves mostly Asian dishes plus burgers and tortillas. Staff are friendly and service is good with some English spoken. Venue is function, clean and tidy.
Read moreFood is a bit hit and miss. The hits were the Guay-Jab-Yuan which was delicious and the Sukiyaki was also very tasty. The Pad Thai was rather basic and a bit too oily but was still enjoyable. The prices are low, so ingredients are simple and portions modest.
The fresh spring roles where fresh and the dressings really tasty, however portions felt a bit mean and ingredients didn’t impress.
The BBQ Tortilla was okay, but the portion was small and ingredients a bit too basic. The cheese burger was also disappointing, not really a burger and not really cheesy, however the bun was very nice.
The deserts were a real treat. We tried the orange cakes and they were truly divine.
A good place for a budget meal, but can only recommend the Asian dishes and the orange cake. Cakes alone made the visit well worth it.
Pros: Very nice Asian dishes , Divine Orange cakes!, Affordable
Cons: Some disappointment dishes

Amazing Thai food! - Edit
Ordered on Grab and it tasted amazing! We had the basil minced pork and rice, pad Thai, and vegan egg noodles with wontons and crispy pork - it was all so good, I’d recommend them all! 😍

Good value, better for delivery - Edit
This is a simplified version of the main May Veggie Home restaurant, I think primarily setup in this central location to be used for delivery orders, as there isn't very much seating.
Read moreThe menu is slimmed-down in comparison to the main restaurant, but there's still plenty of choice, even though they had run-out of a few things when I came.
It seems a little confused between whether it's a restaurant or whether it's fast food. It has the setup of a restaurant, but no table service. You order at a counter, and they just shout when your order is ready. I found that a bit odd and off-putting.
The food is of equal quality to the main May Veggie Home though, so it's a welcome addition to the area and cheaper than restaurants serving equivalent dishes in central Bangkok.

Meatless version of popular local dishes - Edit
First time here, and I had ordered both vegan minced meat with basil leave and tofu salad. Initial worries of ordering too much for 1 person but proof unfounded as the food were tasty. However, the vegan meat dish was a bit too salty for me.

Great veggie restaurant for very good price! We had noodle wonton soup (with some fake meat filling), spring rolls (with awesome dips) and BBQ tortilla with amazing meat. We got much more than we expected from such a local restaurant.
