Pretty weak Western food

May House serves Western meals - burgers and pastas - covered in cheese. A bit too heavy for me, but the staff here are great and the prices are cheap for Western vegetarian food. Note that the location is close to the Zoo Station.

Pros: Cheese, Cheap

Cons: Cheap cheese

4 stars because China

Travelling through China one quickly finds out that the chinese language and culture isn't aware of veganism as we know it in Europe. So finding a sùshí (vegetarian) restaurant in town feels like a oasis. This place is not the best I veggiefood I've had, but it's filling, tasty, and they understand if you request the dish to be chún sùshí (strict vegetarian, without animal products). I had the egg plant dish and the burger every day for a week ?.

Pros: it's a veggie restaurant in China , awareness about chún sùshí, they have fake cheese

Cons: a little greasy, no english is spoken (but come on, it's China)
