The Best Pizza in Mussomeli - Edit
When I arrived in Mussomeli, I was met with an open mindedness about veganism that surprised me. Almost all the chefs have really embraced my requests. Salvatore, the owner and pizza maker, and his wife have been especially wonderful. All you need to do is explain you are vegan and order your favorite toppings. This village is the perfect place to stop if you are traveling the island. You will enjoy some of the best pizza in Italy (yep, he recently rated very high in a pizza making contest), and you’ll meet the lovely people who live here. With more demand from vegans, I hope to work with him on acquiring vegan cheese and creating a vegan section to the menu!
