Part of a chain of supermarkets, this one is in the basement of the Maxi Fashion building. Stocks a bigger range of vegan options than other Mercator supermarkets. Stepping through the entrance on the right you will see a big range of organic products, including multiple vegan options like vegan cheese, salami, meat substitutes, cappuccino, chocolates, plant based mylks, yogurts, puddings, and cereal. Go around the supermarket you will find even more vegan products, but those are mostly not organic as the organic stuff is placed on one spot. You can also find a freshly made vegan chocolate orange cake at the cake and desserts counter. There are also some bulk / plastic free options with dried fruits, seeds, nuts, candy (the Bajadera and Fontana chocolates are vegan). Open Mon-Fri 09:00-21:00, Sat 08:00-20:00.

Huge selection

A huge selection of vegan products. Tho their homemade salads, fruit bowls etc are packaged in so much single-use plastic…

Great selection

Amazing selection, especially plant based cheeses, meats and milks.
Current brands sold are: Violife, Valsoia, Sayve, Wheaty, Biolab, Provamel, Alpro, Rapunzel, Planet of Plants, My Love My Life, Sojade, True Gum, La Vida, Vivani, Joya, Evergreen, Isola Bio, Almond Breeze, Harvest Moon, Green Vie, The Bridge, Riso Scotti, Viana, etc.

Also has lots of vegan ice cream options, lots of pre-made salads and smoothies, even vegan sushi. Lots of vegan chocolate, gum, cookies, etc.
Most of it can be found in the health section near the entrance so you don’t even have to walk through the rest of the store.

I love their vegetable and fruit section as well, it’s one of the largest in the city center. They sell protein powder, supplements and vitamins too.

I do wish they brought back some items they used to sell, once they came out with their own vegan house brand “Planet of plants” they got rid of a lot of other products.

you’ll find everything you need here

it’s a supermarket with a pretty nice range of vegan products (cheese, spreads, yoghurts, chocolate and other sweets, kombucha, mylk, grains, pasta, cereals). you can also find ready to eat stuff. there is also an awesome variety of fresh vegetables and fruit, which is sadly positioned next to a large meat section.
