We ate there late at night after arriving in Stockholm and were surprised it‘s still open. We had a burger menu and vegan chicken nuggets and really enjoyed it! It was very busy but didn‘t eat there, so that didn‘t bother us.

the burgers and nuggets are alright for a fast food chain but the star of the show have been the vegan milkshakes, which they don’t offer anymore. So sad. For me, Max is not worth visiting without them.

There’s a decent amount of vegan options, but the plant beef burger menu “chicken” nuggets were really disappointing. The plant-based chocolate shake was just okay. The burger barely had any taste, and the nuggets were a bit better but still pretty bland. The chocolate shake had pieces (of chocolate?) in it and was alright, but really nothing special. I wouldn’t go here again.

The vegan burger was a huge letdown. Go to Bastard Burgers instead, they have more vegan options AND vegan cheese. The patty at Max tasted like a tough hockey puck. The ingredients in general seemed poor quality.

They have really nice nuggets, but only as a menu. The vegan chocolate shake was also good, but really sweet, so if that’s not your thing, keep that in mind. We also hat the bowl, which was disappointing. I also didn’t like their sweet and sour dip, wouldn’t take that again.

Max should double down and drop the suffering from the menu — they would cause quite the headlines and take their concept global.

AND THEY HAVE VEGAN MILKSHAKE! Just a word of warning though, if you have (you should!) the oumph burger and are sensitive to spicy food, then leave out the jalapenos! They are spicier than normal jalapenos. I love spicy though! The sweet mustard is my favorite dip for the fries, goes well with the spicy burger and is of course fully vegan. It's also possible to choose a bean salad instead of fries for the vegan oumph meal. You wont regret going here for your fast food!
