Serves meat, vegan options available. Fast food burger chain founded 1968 in Sweden and has since expanded to multiple countries. Concept is similar to McDonald's. Offers burgers, nuggets, fries, shakes, salads, and combo meals. Vegan options include a bbq sandwich, burger and vegan crispy no chicken (ask for egg-free mayo). Good for being fast food - Edit
Max has four vegan options on their Green Menu, and six different vegan milkshakes. The food is decent, and their milkshakes are really good.

Tasty burgers, fries and milkshakes, with everything marked clearly on the menu. I've eaten here so many times - love it 🍟🍔

When you’re in the mood for fast food it’s a winner - Edit
This is no gourmet burger joint (go to Dirty Vegan!) but when you want quick, easy, cheap(ish) this is what you’re looking for. I had the basic BBQ Plant Beef burger with fries and I liked it. As has been stated by other reviews the burgers are in the same category as McDonalds / Burger King style burgers so 4 stars in based on that category but would be lower if I was comparing to quality high end vegan dining. Would like to try one of the plant based shakes another time. I liked the self-order menu which has an English option. Great to see a few different vegan options.

Got a meal deal and it was incredible! Worth the price. The vegan chocolate milkshake is so rich and delicious I highly recommend.

This is my go-to fast food restaurant. They got some amazing vegetarian options. And a really good(very spicy) vegan burger.

Surprisingly good for fast food - Edit
I don't tend to like fast food, but this was actually really good! I will definitely eat here again. It felt junky enough to satisfy what you want from a fast food burger, but not so junky that you don't feel good after. They have one vegan burger, and two that can be made vegan. I recomend to go for the Crispy Mexican and ask to get it vegan.

In norway, mattilsynet, who ensure food safety, regularly check all restaurants, and give scores, the result in either a smileyface 🙂, a "not impressed" face 😐, or in the worst case a sad face ☹️ that the has to be displayed. This place has a "not impressed" face 😐 due to kitchens routines and management or something.
But the main drawback are the convenient order screens that don't require you to speak to a human being. This is just sad and a terrible thing for any restaurant to implement, even if it's fast food joint. It's a cold design choice that is a step toward a more isolated human experience. Luckily, you can ignore these, and actually interact with a person that will take your order.

Veg*n Friendly Fast Food - Edit
I stumbled upon Max while looking for some vegetarian food in the neighborhood. Surprisingly, there were several vegetarian and vegan options! My meal was satisfying, but since this is fast food, I wouldn't recommend it too much. There is a location in Grønland too.
