Serves meat, vegan options available. Fast food burger chain founded 1968 in Sweden and has since expanded to multiple countries. Concept is similar to McDonald's. Offers burgers, nuggets, fries, shakes, salads, and combo meals. Vegan options include a bbq sandwich, burger and vegan crispy no chicken (ask for egg-free mayo). The vegan dips include bbq, sriracha-ketchup, sweet n sour, and vegan mayo. Please note that many businesses in Sweden are cashless. Open Mon-Fri 10:00-03:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-05:00.

Max has a few vegan options and tasted pretty good. It wasn't the best fast food I'd ever had, but I liked it a lot.

Pretty dirty at night. The staff assured me that some sauce was vegan, although the website said it contained eggs. Not sure who to trust.

MAX have really stepped up their vegan game lately. Apparently the standard milkshakes are vegan nowadays, and the burgers are really good for their price range. Just pay attention to what options on the menu are vegan by default, and which need to be altered (e.g. removing cheese).

So this is not your healthy option but this is incredibly fun, the vegan milkshakes and burgers are delicious. However the opposite to healthy, which is what I’d expect from a burger chain ;)
