Serves meat, vegan options available. Fast food burger chain founded 1968 in Sweden and has since expanded to multiple countries. Concept is similar to McDonald's. Offers burgers, nuggets, fries, shakes, salads, and combo meals. Vegan options include a bbq sandwich, burger and vegan crispy no chicken (ask for egg-free mayo). The vegan dips include bbq, sriracha-ketchup, sweet n sour, and vegan mayo. Please note that many businesses in Sweden are cashless. Could do with a revamp... - Edit
My current Max Burgers go-to branch. It could do with a refurb and some brightening - it feels a bit old compared to the newer branches in the city.
Read moreOverall, though, Max Burger quality and easy enough to grab a vegan burger meal to fill a hole in the belly. It's usually fairly busy, so there's often a bit of a wait.
Compared to other burger joints selling vegan burgers, Max Burger could really do with vegan cheese and making all those "lacto-ovo" burgers vegan, too.
Pros: Okay choice for vegans, Open late, Easy to use ordering kiosks
Cons: Too many "lacto-ovo" offerings that could be vegan, Interior looks dated, Odd people hanging about outside
