Closed at 2pm

Maybe they were having a siesta, but the restaurant wasn’t open at 2pm. Luckily we found another restaurant nearby that had vegetarian meals and a menu

Good lunch vegan menu

We walked up and down the main street leading down to the lake past the multitude of cafes and restaurants and saw a board with 'vegan menu' and the options written out which piqued our interest.
Soup to start, choice of mains (lentil burger with fried potatoes, tacos with guacamole and pesto spaghetti) and a dessert for 25 BOB. The soup was quinoa and veggies that day, well seasoned, and I had the lentil burger and fried potatoes, which was good too. Dessert was fruit salad soaked in orange juice. Refreshing!
In terms of value for money, the price was compatible with other restaurants (I saw others for 30 BOB for a lunchtime menu). Although Copacabana is not over flowing with vegan options, it was satisfying to find one that delivered freshly prepared food and generous portion sizes. The staff were attentive and well informed of the vegan options which they explained in detail.

Pros: Good vegan options available , Well informed staff, friendly , Generous portions

Cons: Vibes and ambience could be more harmonious , Music a bit too loud
