We found this place on the back of a Google review while looking for something vegan to eat in Matsushima. We have a little sign in Japanese that explains that we are vegan and what we cannot it, which we showed to the staff who were more than happy to accommodate us.
We had noodles with konjac and taro in a miso soy broth and it was just what we needed on a grey rainy day.
The lady who served us cooked it herself and brought us an additional gift of potato wedges she fried just for us 🥰 She was absolutely adorable and enjoyed speaking to us in English too, with the help of Google Translate.
