best waffles in Melbourne - Edit
Visited with about ten minutes to spare before their kitchen closed. They were still happy to serve but only had the menu items - very pleased with the waffles which were fresh and perfectly cooked. Açai bowl also good.

Hot chocolate is on point, staff are great, and the location is reasonably quiet and tucked away from the city madness.

Staff are super nice and always make good vegan recommendations. You can also get takeaway and sit on picnic blankets outside if it’s busy. Although they serve non vegan things I’d say almost half of the sweets, toasties and salads are vegan! They get freshly baked croissants in as well. Highly recommend the mushroom toastie

Matilda Cafe - Edit
The food is fresh and delicious. I was looking for a cafe with vegan options and Matilda Cafe didn't disappoint. Plenty of options on the menu and in the cabinets. Cute location, great coffee and lovely staff.
