Overpriced food for what you get

I know everything is organic, but the size of the dishes is really small for what you pay. I had the poke bowl and on top there were nice ingredients (mushrooms, avocado, falafel, tomato) but underneath was only lettuce. So 70% of the dish was lettuce. That was not worth 140kr. It was tasty but I would not do it again.

Pros: All vegan, Organic

Cons: Pricy, Tiny dishes

Lovely food

This place is a must-experience! So nice, fresh and healthy food! We had the kalepie and pizza, both with salad. Staff is nice and the cook is great!

Pros: Only vegan. Not just food, also a small shop.

healthy spot in Stockholm

We came in there just to have a look at the place and really liked it so we decided to have something to drink. I ordered matcha latte and my friend chose chaga chocolate. The drinks were really good. We were sorry that we had lunch before since there were so many delicious and healthy options there. The only disappointment was that the service was a bit too slow. but when the food is healthy and good, you are ready to wait a little bit, aren't you ;) ? !

Raw Power

We went here for lunch and ordered the raw pizza (129 SEK) and the kale tart (139 SEK), both of which were accompanied with a lovely fresh salad packed full of goodness and a delicate, flavoursome dressing. Inside the decor and atmosphere was very calming and the staff were very friendly. We also ordered a chilli, pomegranate and cranberry juice drink (35 SEK) that was so refreshing and had a nice 'kick'. The tart also came with a free coffee and you could also pay about 30 SEK extra for a cake deal too. However, although both the tart and pizza were delicious they were tiny in comparison to the amount of salad making it very unbalanced in my opinion. We left still feeling hungry.

Pros: Vegan options, Relaxing atmosphere, Friendly staff

Cons: Not enough of the main dish

Lunch? Thumb up!

Cozy and quiet spot close to Medborgaplatsen. Food is tasty, carefully prepared dishes, regular portions and.. kind staff :) I tried the meal of the week, it was composed by salad, raw rolls and marinated seaweed. The seaweed were exactly like the ones you can eat in Japan.. so for me.. 

Small high quality raw cafe

This is a Raw food place that thankfully does a good loose leaf Earl grey tea! It had about 3 different raw cakes available when I called in so I had them all. The balls looked ok but they were only balls! I wanted cake. Their raspberry and licquorice cake is a treasure. Subtle in taste, strong in texture, sweet but not very so the liquorice flavours lingered gently in my mouth as I prepared myself for the chocolate cakes. The chocolate and rock salt cake is divine. The cake has a remarkably sponge like texture a raw cake, the salt crystals standing out both in taste and texture, wonderful. This cake only had a very thin nut base at the bottom which will please those bored of chomping through heavy raw cake nut layers.
This place is not cheap but then its only Kafe 44 that I know of that can claim that title amongst the vegan friendly places in Stockholm.
At least they still accept cash! The chocolate nut bar was by comparison nothing to write home about, but I would concede that three pieces of cake was enough for me. Next time I'll try the savoury stuff but if you are on a cake hunt this place is worth checking out.

Pros: good cake, not too busy/noises

Cons: not cheap, not all vegan

So-so taste / too light raw food

Nice place with friendly staff. Raw food are served tapas style where you pick a combo of 2-3 selection, but they are too "mini" for the price n to be a meal.

Taste is okay. Not fantastic. The menu is simple and lacks creativity or excitement. Feels like it's designed for kids. The least they can do is be a little more generous with the kid-size portion. Just glad that there is another vegan place for the severe lack of non-meat eateries in Stockholm. But really so much room for improvement in the vegan culinary area, Sweden.

Pros: nice initiative n environment. nice n friendly sta

Cons: too tiny portion for the price. be a little more g

Good but ......... raw style !!!

It is a nice place, crowded, with lovely girls. The food is good and well presented but like always with the raw food, you pay a lot for a very light meal :(

Not so fabulous raw food

After traveling abroad and visiting several raw food restaurants, I went back here and I must say that I was disappointed. This is not raw food which is up to international standard so to say. It is too expansive, too experimental but still boring food. I got stomach pain afterwards, which could be normal after not being used to eat raw food, however I never got stomach pain eating raw food abroad.

Again, this restaurant is more a sign of how backward Stockholm is when it comes to vegetarian, vegan and raw food. Every big city in the world are exploding with great vegan and raw food restaurants, but in Stockholm we have to put up with this. Go to Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, London and even Kiev and Moscow to learn something about real raw food cuisine.

OLD review

You must visit this raw food restaurant.

I would not say that it is overpriced. This is Stockholm. Crappy canteen lunch cost around 100 SEK. Here you get well prepared quality raw food vegan lunch for this price.

nice smoothies, great people

We loved the smoothies and the owner as well as everyone else is super friendly. The mint ball is also yummy. I wish the green smoothie had more flavor or was blended with something else that made stuff stick together.

Very good raw food!

I am not into raw food, except for the fact that it is vegan, but this one is an exception! The food is really tasty and the atmosphere is special - they have a green plant wall and a play room for children. Not cushy armchairs, but it is a lunch restaurant so I would not expect that. They have nice desserts too, and you can get soy milk in your coffee. Even the staff is nice!

Pros: Tasty food, Nourishing food

Cons: A bit to small portions

great!

A pretty good raw food resturant! A bit overpriced and some weird atmosphere, we were the only ones there and there was no music or anything on, just a really noisy fridge. But aside from that highly recommended, the food is great!
