Special place in Amsterdam, which offers vegan pizza with many delicious versions. The style is nicely rough and cool - Italian pop music plays and the staff shows their love for it accordingly. Might well be the best popular music there is. Totally recommended, the pizza too!

Read moreHowever, the rest wasn't very good. We got the Il Bacio and Tutto Mushrooms. The tomato sauce didn't taste like pizza sauce, but like plain tomatoes. In general the toppings tasted uninspired, maybe because they were too few, but they didn't add much flavor to the pizza.
With a good crust, is think it shouldn't be hard to get to a good pizza, in Naples just crust and sauce is enough to impress, but this pizza was a mediocre experience.

I am not sure why this place is listed as vegetarian, when we walked in it was shortly mentioned that everything was vegan...I had the "Don't call me pepperoni" pizza and a cannoli for dessert. I would say, this was one of my top 3 vegan pizzas so far.

The taste of the real napolitan pizza! I went for the 5 seasons, the tomato sauce and vegan cheese were smooth, the meat absolutely incredible, all the ingredients are well balanced. Staff is kind and easy going, sitting area small but cosy.

Mastino’s pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had. And I’ve lived in Italy.. the dough, the crunchiness.. the flavours 💯 oh and the vegan cheese.. the perfect mozzarella that actually melts.. I could go on and on about Mastino’s pizza.. just go and try it.. and if you like mushrooms then I would recommend the tutti mushrooms one.. and the tiramisù as a dessert of course 😀

As an italian from a family owning pizzerias I did not expect to eat one of the best vegan pizzas in Amsterdam! This was definitively one of the top 3 vegan pizzas I've ever eaten the past years!

We were so amazed about this place, that we had to come again, even if we stayed for just one night.
Almost everything there is homemade, even over 5 different vegan cheeses.
Btw. the whole place is standardly vegan, but they offer regular cheese option for omnivores.
Pros: Great place and friendly staff, Very tasty pizza, Very authentic

However, some pizzas are really nice, others are very bland. I’d recommend choosing one that has flavorful ingredients (blue cheese, caramelized onions… like such). Overall theyre pretty healthy and vegetable rich.

This is a small busy pizza place with some small tables along the wall (very hot inside) and a few chairs outside. They mainly do takeaway.
Read moreIt is fun sitting outside on one of the chairs while waiting for and eating your pizza. The shopfront is in a laneway with lots of restaurants and foot traffic keeping you entertained.
The staff are very friendly and accomodating.
The pizzas were very tasty and filling with lots of toppings.

Despite ordering delivery and getting a not-so-hot or pretty pizza, we still enjoyed it due to the perfect base and variety of delicious toppings (including their homemade cheese!) You can tell the ingredients are quality by the richness of flavor in each bite. We ordered 'The Calabrian One'.

Small and cozy place, nice and friendly staff. I took 'The Calabrian one', it is a very rich and original vegan pizza. The ingredients are San Marzano tomato sauce, lentil mozzarella (made by Mastino), vegan nduja, sun dried tomatoes, jalapeno oil, spicy almond mozzarella and olives. All of good quality. Next time I come to Amsterdam i will definitely come back here.

A few years ago I remember having a good experience here. But this time both of our pizzas were pretty flavourless and the pesto was not nice at all. The salads we found very expensive for the amount and quality of it.
