Odengatan 60, Stockholm, Sweden

Serves meat, vegan options available. Has an extensive vegetarian and vegan section in the menu. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about vegans and vegan food. Vegan choices include dhal makhooni, sabji kofta, mushroom and vegetable dishes, a range of dishes with the soy product oumph and of course a vegan thali with vegan naan bread. Desserts include vegan kulfi and lassi. Cheaper during lunch hours, with at least three vegan items. Lunch includes coffee/tea, lemonade, papadums, mango chutney, salad and vegan salad dressing (ask the staff, since there are also dairy based dressings). Open Mon-Fri 10:30am-10:00pm, Sat-Sun 12:00pm-10:00pm. Lunch served from opening to 4:00 pm.

Simply wonderful - Edit

Anyone expecting this type of cuisine to be cheap, as it is in other countries, will be in for a surprise. Masala Masala, like most Indian restaurants in Stockholm, is more moderately priced. Once you accept this, you can appreciate the food on offer accordingly.

And what about the food? While there are a number of dishes including the plant based protein, Ooumph!, the other vegan options are numerous (and very tasty), being clearly marked on the website and on the menu. If you enjoy this style of cuisine, I would recommend giving this small restaurant a chance, and try the vegan lassi while you are there.

Pros: Good selection, Clearly marked vegan options, Vegan lassi

Cons: Outdoor seating not that cozy

For people that like Oumph - Edit

This place is heavily inspired by Holy cow as the cooks have worked there previous if I understood correctly.

The menus are very close but the difference is that this place uses Oumph instead of the soymeat used at Holy cow, I don't like Oumph that much so it's not for me.

Also the last time I went there I ordered and paid for a Naan I didn't get and forgot about (but I should have mentioned it when I did not get it).

I would say go here if you like Oumph, otherwise Holy Cow is better.

Pros: Near to public transport, For Oumph Lovers

Cons: For Oumph lovers, maybe a tad expensive

Good and tasty, but expensive - Edit

Although it is a new restaurant the food is really tasty. Tastes like India and good variety of things to choose from as a vegan and vegetarian. Small portions for the money but okay.

Pros: Good service, Really tasty, Food comes quick

Cons: Not that cozy, A little to westernized in decoration
