Every dish can be vegan 🌱

Such tasty Indian (fusion) food! They have dishes that you won’t find veganized at other Indian restaurants. I highly recommend anything with vegan meat replacement, their dosas and their tandoori dishes! They come serve on a hot sizzling plate 🤤 The dosa was incredibly crispy. Everything was fresh and so flavorful

Justifiably Top Rated

Delicious, authentic Indian food in the heart of Phnom Penh. Dosa, naan, and tofu masala were delicious
We ordered the vegan kebabs but they were so so. Perfect dinner for two.

Good food

Really good indian food and everything is clearly marked. It's definitely a great option especially if you like indian food. But i would say you pay around as double as much compared to a local food restaurant, what is still not expensive compared to western prices. But just to be aware of that :)

Huge portions and clearly labelled

Don't think I've ever left a restaurant feeling so full!

A vegetarian and vegan restaurant, in a good location close to the river.

You order using their online system which clearly states which items are vegan, vegetarian etc so its easy to make sure you get vegan products.

The owner was so friendly, and we got lucky by going at the end of the night as he gave us a free sample of a new fusion meal he was designing!

We had:
- Vegan Protein Kulcha with Chole
- Tofu Dosa
- Vegan Kachumber Raita

Pros: Menu variety, Clearly labelled vegan options, Friendly staff

The most vibing veg and vegan place in phnom penh

I recently stumbled upon Masala Dosa Street Kitchen and—and I can’t stop thinking about it! 🌟 Nestled in a funky little spot, they’ve just expanded into two bright, airy floors, so there’s plenty of room to chill with friends, dive into conversation, and soak up those retro-Indian vibes. Picture colourful Bollywood posters, hanging lanterns, and mellow sitar melodies drifting through the air. 🎶🪔

Dharma ji and his crew are all about conscious, mindful cooking: 100% organic, entirely vegetarian (with plenty of vegan options), and bursting with fresh, wholesome ingredients. Their masala dosa? Crispy, tangy, and stuffed to perfection. The rajma chawal is pure comfort—rich, creamy kidney beans over fragrant rice that feels like a warm hug. And don’t skip dessert: their kulfi is silky, subtly sweet, and totally addictive. 🍨🌿

Whether you’re a longtime lover of South Indian flavours or just curious to try something new, this place ticks every box. Great music, killer food, and a vibe that makes you want to stay all afternoon. Bring your crew, grab a table on the upper floor, and get ready to fall in love. See you there! 🙌😊

Pros: Ambience, Vibe, Warm people

Amazing dosa & attentive staff

We really enjoyed our meal here. We were indecisive (as usual!) so shared one dal with rice and garlic naan and the tofu dosa. All was really delicious, particularly the dosa with the accompaniments. The staff were very attentive and noticed we needed a knife to cut the dosa in half and brought one over before I even had the chance to ask!

Delicious 😋

Great food and attentive staff.
From the moment you step inside, you're hit with a refreshing escape from the heat outside. Head upstairs, find a table, and order your drinks either with the super friendly staff or just by scanning the QR code.

The menu? Plenty to choose from. Soups, curries, sandwiches - plenty of variety without feeling overwhelmed.

Needless to say, we came back for a second meal a few days later.

Pros: Attentive customer service, English speaking, Aircon

So Many Options! Clearly Labeled!

There were soooo many things to choose from here, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. They also play different Bollywood films on a projector, which was entertaining and enjoyable to watch during dinner!

Very good!

I mean this restaurant is already the best rated in PP and I can only add to that. The dosa was amazing and the two girls who served me were absolutely lovely. As others have pointed out, it is definitely geared towards tourists and therefore pricey but still absolutely worth it!

Gorgeous food, great service

We had really delicious vegan food at Masala Dosa, our waitress Wan was fantastic, very attentive and welcoming with brilliant English.
We tried the Pani Puri flavour bombs, Special peanut chat, Tofu Lababdal Delight, smokey aubergine dish called Baingan Bharta rice, and Naan. All delicious and good value.
We highly recommend this air conditioned, comfortable restaurant.

Pros: Baingan Bharta, Special Peanut Chat, Pani Puri Flavour Bombs

The dosa was crispy and delicious, I had the chana masala in mine and it was so tasty! The onions bhajis were really great too but the tofu tikka was our favourite, it was absolutely lovely!

Great place

The food was excellent, if a bit spicey but that's to be expected i guess.
Mainly vegan options which is great.
Loved the vibe with all the Indian movie posters on the walls, and even one movie was on a screen during our diner !

Pros: Great food, great vibe

Cons: Not a fan of the menu/order via phone only

Outstanding Indian vegan food...

We chanced upon the restaurant while searching for vegan food, and it was everything that the reviews promised, and more. The vegan ginger chai, dahi puri with coconut yogurt, authentic rasam (this is coming from an Indian) and Malabar Tofu were excellent. The service was efficient and friendly, and the multitude of posters of Indian movies and stars added to the ambience. Highly recommended for vegans and vegetarians!!!

Pros: Excellent authentic Indian vegan food

Amazing vegan options!

This place has a ton of vegan options, including the option to customise your dish with cashew cheese. I had a dosa which was wonderfully flavourful and filling! Unexpected but nice find!!

Wow!

Probably the nicest vegan curries we’ve had in 4 years! Tofu tikka masala was exceptional, naan was fantastic. Took a little long to come from the kitchen, but the brilliant staff were apologetic and even gave us a complimentary drink. Choice is absurdly good for vegans, could go back here all week. A little pricey, but money very well spent.

Great vegan Indian

Had an amazing vegan chickpea dosa. Not the cheapest food around, but was both delicious and filling. Menu is online so can review beforehand and what is/isn’t vegan is very clear.

Everything was fine.

Everything was fine here, its a pretty slick establishment, well done up, nice to walk into.
Ordering off a tablet is weird when the server is standing right beside you, and having to look through the whole menu tapping on and off for food descriptions is more troublesome than reading a menu, but I guess at least they don't have to reprint when things change.

I had vadi pav, channa masala dosa, fries and a few beers, everything was fine, nothing super exciting or flavourful, just fine.

Menu is very well highlighted with dietaries, easy to see the extensive array of vegan things. Kinda on the more expensive side, just considering the food price, but you pay for the niceness and organisation as well so do what you will with that.

Prob wouldn't visit again, there are a lot of other Indian restaurant to try my luck at, but was happy to have gone.

Pros: Lots of vegan stuff., Nice place, Great staff
