Loads of choice, very accommodating

Loved the traditional food choices and how everything nearly could be veganised

Pros: Very cheap , Great choice

Bad service

Waited for ridiculous amount of time for simple order. Locals were served ahead of me. Very average and not worth the money. No attempt to apologize or compensate for my inconvenience

Delicious Dosas

I came here twice and ordered a Masala Dosa made with Alu Gobi instead of Masala (because their Masala is not vegan) and after talking back and forth whether it would be possible (both times), it ended up being fantastic. Food comes out quick, staff is nice and they serve the Dosa without the vegetarian chutney which means they clearly understand veganism. Great!

Pros: Fast service, Can make adjustments , Fairly priced

Nice indian food, all vegetarian

All vegetarian restaurant. They cook naan in the tandoor oven. They are able to adapt the curries - i got palak with mushroom and cauliflower instead of paneer. Delicious flavours, but dishes are a bit oily.

Overpriced small portions poor taste

We ordered two vegan masala dosa, few chapati and French fried. We give two star for the chapatti that was really good, but the masala dosa was too thin and its was almost empty and really oily and the dal was more a kind of bouillon without taste. The French fried was supposed to be home made but in fact was frozen ones, poor quality, with a lot of "black" fries and small portion for the price.

Pros: Chapatis

Cons: Expenssive, Small portions, Poor quality

some good some bad

Tried 4 dishes. 2 were good, 2 werent as good. In the dal fry they used too much tomatoes and the alu matter had a strange taste as if a bad oil was used. Other dishes were good

Pros: large variety

Cons: risk that some dishes may not be tasty

Simple and cheap

Good simple foods from a wide menu with cheap prices. Staff were knowledgable about which curries were vegan (and asked if I was vegan as soon as I ordered naan without ghee). Only issue was one curry was a little oily.

Good Indian foods

Their Indian foods are good and I liked the staffs. I asked to change yogurt to potatoes, which it wasn’t problem. Little of bit much oil. Actually it’s really Indian foods with oils

Good Indian food

Great selection Indian food, great taste. Waiters are friendly, but might not know much about the dishes - one of them thought that paneer is the same as tofu... haha. I explained to him how it is made (basically milk curdled with lemon juice). However, food is excellent. And wifi is good.
In the cold winter evenings they have a fire place.
Actually both the Marwadi restaurants have signs saying "New Marwadi Restaurant".

Pros: Great taste, Friendly staff

very nice food for nice price

Same good Indian food as the other Marawadi restaurant on the other side of lakeside. Vegans just need to be aware of milk products since it's pure veg (Indian term for no meat and no eggs).
Bigger and nicer imo than the other (same owner) Marwadi restaurant.

Pros: pure veg, not expensive

Cons: Indian so milk products everywhere
