Best vegan food we had in three weeks in colombia! Awesome service as well! - Edit
We went here two times. For lunch you will get a soup and a mixed plate with different, tasty things. In the evening you can choose between different colombian and international dishes. We had awesome arepas and a tasty tamales. The other options were hamburgers and pizza. Also in the evening you won’t get a menu. The waitress will explain all options to you. The service is very good and the food is the best vegan food we had in a restaurant in Colombia for three weeks.

Read moreWe had the “Menu del Dia” we ate there around 3pm, and it was the only thing available to order: so I variety.
The dish was a beet salad, an oat/vegetable soup, rice, very small side of potatoes, peas with tofu and maybe bean sprouts (wasn’t sure). It also came with a strawberry juice no sugar added.
The meal was tasty, light and perfect proportion for me.
They said that after 4pm they have other items on the menu available. I do not know if that was just a regular thing or just that day.

Love this place. They don’t have a set menu, but the girl working there is happy to explain the options available at that moment. Her English is better than my Spanish and she is really helpful and friendly. I went there multiple times and tried the pizza, the tamal and the hotdog. All delicious and with tasty proteines (like “no chicken”). They also have amazing cookies, cakes and other sweets. Everything very reasonably priced. Oh, and as a bonus they have a really cute cat. Highly recommended.

I went here twice. The first time they had just closed for lunch. Not sure why, perhaps they ran out of food? I wish my Spanish was better!
Read moreThe second time I just wanted a light eat so I ordered an arepa. It was ham and cheese with a mushroom filling. It took almost 15 min to prepare, so it wasn’t a fast eat. But when I received the arepa it was everything I wanted. I was able to snack on my way to the Museo de Oro. The ham and cheese was excellent! The additional mushroom filling wasn’t so thrilling, but it didn’t take away from the great vegan arepa.

I had a set meal here. I personally prefer to eat outdoors or to-go due to COVID concerns, however that was not an option here. Fortunately the place was empty when we were there so I felt comfortable eating indoors. The food was delicious and there is a very sweet kitty that visits you while you eat. What more can you ask?

We really enjoyed the tamales, so yummy! Also the tarts are very delicious. A great place with good service, a cute cat and nice vegan food. Be careful in this area though, we were robbed at knivepoint right after going out the restaurant.😒La Candelaria is unfortunately not safe!

The best in Bogotá - Edit
We shared the tamal which was packed with garbanzo beans, mushrooms, and sausage. It was so flavorful and delicious. They have SO many cakes/pies to choose from. We got the passion fruit cheesecake made with tofu. It was incredible! We decided to take a slice of the red berry pie home. The owner was lovely and I wish we could try all the desserts!
