Not bad - Edit
The vegan noodle is not bad but as a Chinese American, I have to say it definitely doesn’t taste like a real Chinese dan dan (they call it tan tan) noodle. It just tasted weird to me, the flavor and the texture of the noodle were just ok. The noodle seemed fresh but I won’t come back again. I could make the noodle better than them.

Tan Tan all day, everyday… - Edit
I’ve been to this chain’s location in Costa Mesa and was happy to see them open up another spot relatively near my home. I had a good experience (minus the long wait) at that location and was hopeful about this new location. I wasn’t disappointed. I had the Tan Tan again which is a Japanese style sesame chili broth with spicy soy meat and bok choy. It has the perfect amount of flavor and spice to my liking. I’m excited to try their Vegan Miso Udon next time around.
