Read moreAls wir am Lokal ankamen müsste ich auf Klo, so dass ich zuerst dahin ging und im Anschluss eigentlich was Veganes probieren wollte.
Das Lokal an sich ist Recht schön gemacht und es wirkte alles auch Recht sauber, wie es im Betrieb eben so möglich ist.
Auf der Toilette hatte ich dann die Wahl zwischen einer Kabine mit Klopapier und einer, die ich abschließen konnte. Also habe ich halt die Tür mit einer Hand zugehalten...
Als dann am Waschbecken auch keine Seife mehr vorhanden war, ist mir die Lust vergangen, dort noch was zu essen, glücklicherweise habe ich immer Desinfektionsmittel etc. dabei.
Wir haben dann jeweils nur einen Latte Macchiato mit Soja getrunken, der much aber geschmacklich auch nicht umgehauen hat, zumal meine Begleitung eher denkt, dass wir Mandelmilch bekommen haben.
So haben wir von den veganen Speisen leider nichts probiert und mehr als zwei Sterne kann ich da nicht geben.
Alles in allem eher "kulinarischer Konsumtempel" als Café mit Liebe.
Aber was nicht ist, kann ja noch werden🤷.

They had vegan Pistachio Pasticotti, and we tried Caffè leccese, which is an iced coffee with almond milk. But the vegan Pasticotti were way smaller than the other Pasticotti, but the same price :(

Good pastry, bad logistics - Edit
The vegan pastichiotto was tasty, but the place is a logistical mess. It took us a lot of time and energy to figure out where to order, and whether we would be served at the table or not. All the staff was running around, and no one could help us. Eventually we found a table, and were served from there.

Is the size of the vegan pasticciotto compared to the size of the regular one, literally half, not sure about prices because they don’t display them! Pasticciotto with pistacchio is delicious though so I will probably go back 🙊

Maybe we fell on an especially uninformed and close-minded waitress, but she even failed to identify sorbet as vegan, going as far as claiming that "vegan water" is different than "normal water"

scarsa scelta vegana, ma da apprezzare l'opzione vegan del pasticciotto leccese che non tutti hanno. Buono il caffè leccese con latte di mandorla ( già da menù ). consiglio!

Historic place of Lecce in the city center. Friendly and helpful staff. Several vegan options from sweet to savory. We ordered the "Vegan Puccia" (typical Salento sandwich), but it wasn't very good. And for dessert, the pasticciotto leccese (typical leccese sweet) in a vegan version and the leccese coffee, better than the salty one. Generally ok but not very good.

you don't miss anything if you don't go! the place is crowded and very noisy! the staff is not really friendly ... Otherwise this (small) pastry cost us 1 hour of waiting. it's a frozen product (indicated on the sign) but at 11 am still not ready?!

Una volta a Lecce, per essere sicuri di trovare un pasticciotto vegano, siamo andati direttamente da Martinucci (che è una catena locale di pasticceria). Hanno una sola varietà di pasticciotto vegano (che consigliamo comunque di provare, perché molto buono) e qualche gusto per quanto riguarda i gelati (per lo più alla frutta).
