Gogo Gado Gado! - Edit
Honestly wasn't expecting more than a quick lunch, but the gado gado here was huge, very varied and delicious. Very impressed. For 30k too! I asked for no egg or chicken and they offered extra tempeh.
Read moreMy partner ordered satay noodles and asked for the same but it came with three chicken skewers which she sent back and they apologised for. She thought her dish was okay but I definitely won lunch with the excellent gado gado.

Very much enjoyed the food - Edit
Martini’s is small open place with very nice owners. Vegetarian labeled menu with most seeming to be vegan or easily customized. Had the regular gado-gado, huge portion and lots of veggies. She explain all ingredients and offered it with egg and tempeh but easily removed egg. Each meal cooked from scratch and were very kind.

Wonderful small warung - Edit
Lovely small restaurant run by a very helpful balinesian lady. We had gado gado without eggs and also fried noodles. Delicious and worth every penny. Just say that you are vegan and she'll help you customise your meal.

Amazing gado gado - Edit
We had the gado gado and nasi goreng for lunch (asked for no egg). The nasi goreng was nice (fried rice, tempeh and cabbage only for veg) but the gado gado was really good. The portion was easily enough for 2, loads of different vegetables, tofu and tempeh and the peanut sauce was really good. Both came to R50k😄

Decent - for Padang Bai maybe even great - Edit
Padang Bai is a wasteland for healthy food, so maybe everything here needs to be approached with a lower standard. In that sense, I found the food at Martini's quite OK. The owner is very friendly, so you trust her to prepare the food with love, and she is familiar with the term 'vegan'. I tried the Gado-Gado and it was quite alright and plentiful, and the peanut sauce seemed to be home-made. Even though this place can't compete with anything in Ubud, it's worth considering when you are hungry.
