such a nice and cosy place with good breakfast

This is really a wonderful place. A lovely old wooden house (with beautiful rooms where you could stay for the night,by the way) and such a wonderful garden where I enjoyed my delicious breakfast with porridge and very tasty hummus!if you're close by,you have to stop by and if you aren't close my,get in the car,on the bus or so

Country flavour in the city

This place has unbeatable ambience. A cozy, laid back and unpretentious slice of country living in the middle of Tallinn's hustle and bustle. Coming here is like going to grandma's country retreat for some home cooking and R&R.
If you're a tourist visiting Tallinn then I strongly recommend you stop by Marta's cafe for a glimpse of real Estonian rustic life as you would see it in a quaint village.
The attention to detail is stunning, the food is just like grandma's home cooking. Even the chai is made from scratch. And the best part: pancakes on Sundays!

A cosy must-visit vegan place

This place happens to be really close to my home and I had thought a few days (maybe weeks) to take myself there. I would have loved to go with someone else, but as I didn't have anyone else to go with, I finally decided to go alone. Absolutely worth it!
Despite the fact that I went alone, the visit wasn't lonely, because the nice waitress was very friendly and warm. I asked her later on a few questions about this place, especially about how it all begun, and she answered me gladly.
The food was also very good, the taste made it very clear that it has been done with love, and the prices were average, so it's a win-win situation. The location makes it even better since it is nearly in the heart of Tallinn.
I hope it gets more visitors!
Thank you!

Pros: Very good food- pure flavours., Good location!, The prices are affordable.

Hidden gem

A lovely little hidden gem in an old wooden house, with good food and music, served with friendly conversation. Well worth seeking out.

as quirky as it is delightful

Hanna was a delightful host. We felt immediately at home; its rustic and quirky feel is most cosy. Hanna was a chef at Tallinn's much loved, Restoran V. She has form.

No sooner had we decided what we wanted, Hanna was there to take our order. Within minutes, she brought out two dishes for us to share. The first was a hot bowl of creamy carrot soup, served with fresh, crusty bread. Next, was a mixed vegetable and chickpea rice dish. It had a lovely flavour that neither of us could quite put our finger on. We must ask Hanna next time we see her. While the portions were not monstrous, sharing the two small dishes was most satisfying.

However, as my partner Kadri would say, there's always room for cake! Apparently, Hanna has quite the reputation for her desserts. Kadri selected the biggest and prettiest cake of Hanna's many tempting offerings. While the decor may be modest, there was nothing modest about Hanna's cake. A fancy cake that tasted at least as good as it looked - complete with her grandmother's jam! Yum.

Don't let the name fool you, this is Hanna's Kohvik (Cafe). It is all Hanna. And Hanna is what makes this lovely cafe a place that we will come back to. Thanks Hanna.

Pros: Hanna. she is lovely. , delicious cake, nourishing food at a very reasonable price

Cons: location may not be central for many, but easy acc
