Great place! - Edit
This is always a must stop for us when we vacation in Edisto. It’s also a stop we make multiple times during our stay. Coffee is great. Always pick the avocado toast or chickpea salad sandwich (on sourdough bread). Staff are fantastic and always willing to help out.

Decent vegan options and good coffee - Edit
Being that this is almost the only place you can get vegan food on the island (though Food Lion has some surprisingly decent options of you're cooking), we had to try it. The avocado toast was delicious, but I wanted more avocado. The chickpea salad sandwich (on sourdough) was fantastic - 100% would get again. We got to try the one vegan cookie, which was unique, but I really liked it.
Read moreThe Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso was so much better than Starbucks, and I really enjoyed the Mexican Moon Mocha a lot (I came back just to get another).
As other reviews stated, a huge shout-out to the vegan employee, she was super helpful in helping us navigate our options. I do wish they had clear labels on things and/or a make it vegan option, as several of their dishes can be made vegan with slight tweaks. Considering the chickpea salad sandwich isn't even listed as vegan seems like a misstep.
Pros: Vegan options where options are sparce , Tasty coffee, A super helpful vegan employee
Cons: Menu needs better labeling

So glad there's an option here - Edit
Great little café - vegan options are somewhat labeled but we also happened to run into the vegan employee and she was very helpful! We had the avocado toast (vegan as is), and the chickpea salad (sub sourdough - GF bread is not vegan). We also got the pluff mud smoothie without the honey. My omni family had the berry blast toast (vegetarian) and said it was great. I like my avo toast smothered in avo, so it was a little light for me. Chickpea salad was excellent, though! They also had a vegan cookie which I did not try.
Read moreIt is also probably one of the ONLY places on the island to have actual vegan food, and saved me from another sad meal at a family chosen place, so I am very grateful for that!
Pros: Good food, Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive

Great options on Edisto Island - Edit
Their chickpea salad is made in-house using a homemade cashew mayo. It comes on gluten free bread that is not vegan but you can sub sourdough or wheat berry which are both vegan. There are also a few vegan smoothies and smoothie bowls as well as some toast options. They have 3 milk alternatives for coffee and tea drinks. One of their employees is a long time vegan- feel free to ask for her help if she’s there!
