Amazing!

New owners since February but seems to be just as amazing as previous reviews say!

We had tagine, Dal, rice, cous cous, and two desserts: baklava (3 flavours!) And pistachio cheesecake.

Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Amazing food!!

Pros: Tasty food , Vegan desserts, Reasonable prices

Cons: None!

Excelent food and vegan sweets

There are also others providing lovely meditrainian food. This one is really lovely, and all their sweets are vegan and made there.

Pros: Lovely food, Lovely sweets, Made on the premiss

Unique Cafe in a great location

Lovely small cafe/restaurant in the hustle and bustle of Old Town Hastings. Great to sit outside and watch the world go bye whilst having delicious Moroccan meals or desserts.

When I visited I had a coffee, my partner ginger beer and we shared the baklava. Really easy to see what food is vegan or not on their menu.

Pros: Different varieties of sweet and savory vegan , Oat and Soy milk available , Great location to sit outside and watch the world

Cons: No a Con but would be good to have syrups for coff

Amazing food! Many vegan options. Heavenly vegan cakes straight from the oven.

The vegan options were made fresh and varied, as well as daily specials. . All highly flavoursome. The cakes were also out- of-this world: moist and delicate and varied, as was the vegan Turkish delight. The people are welcoming and go out of their way for you. Can’t recommend highly enough for vegans.

Pros: Many delicious vegan options , Heavenly vegan cakes cooked on premises , Excellent service, lovely setting, inexpensive

Would be 5 stars if the app let me 🙂

Amazing all round experience. Lovey waiter and waitress who were really friendly and helpful. It’s bring your own booze and they even poured our wine for us!

Loads of vegan options even on the chefs specials.
We got a vegan mezze starter with a few free treats.
Loads of desserts and fun (rare for vegan) treats like Affogato with Vegan ice cream.

Left very happy 🙂

Pros: Tasty warming food , Really friendly waiters and chef, Bring your own booze 🥳

Excellent home-cooked Moroccan food

We were fans of Fatima's excellent cooking before we went fully vegan, but we still enjoy the offerings here just as much. The tagines, stews and soups are delicious and the falafels are some of the best I've ever had. I think all the home-made deserts are vegan (including turkish delight) and they are superb. Fatima catered for our wedding we love her food so much, the restaurant has a nice cozy vibe and the service has always been excellent. I would award 5 stars if I were allowed, but I'm not.

Pros: Excellent food quality, Excellent staff, Great location

Cons: Can get filled up as limited number of tables

Delicious Morrocan food

Really fantastic Morrocan home cooking. Plenty of vegan options - always at least one tagine, soups, baklava, aubergine salad, lovely olives, really good pita. The owner/chef is vegan and although it serves meat and dairy it's very vegan friendly. Lovely atmosphere - cosy and very friendly.

Pros: Great food, Vegan baklava, Lovely people running it

Cons: Could easily be fully vegan!

Tasty & authentic home cooked food

Excellent home cooked food at this Moroccan restaurant. The owner is vegan so most of the menu is vegan and all the sweets/baklava was vegan when we visited. The chickpea tagine was beautiful and my mum had the hummus and falafel wrap. Hummus and falafel is a very common vegan option at non vegan establishments but this was different, all homemade and tasted sooo much better than anywhere else I’ve tasted before. Excellent homemade baklava and other Moroccan sweets/biscuits. It was so delicious I was inspired to purchase a tagine from Fatima to try and recreate the chickpea dish myself! Fatima is so friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome - even held my baby so I could enjoy my meal.

Pros: Many vegan options , Home cooked

Cons: Not fully vegan

Brilliant

I went with my family and after some dithering on our part the staff recommended three vegan dishes to share. We loved all of them. All really tasty and reasonably priced.

It's lovely inside too with lots of nice decorative things from the middle east.

Go there!

Pros: Lovely food, Friendly, helpful staff, Nice interior and good atmosphere
