Big choice of plant-based products

It’s my go to place when looking for high quality and interesting vegan products to cook at home. The shop is relatively small but you can find anything you’re looking for, like vegan: pate, cheese, burgers, milk, gnocchi, chocolate spread, desserts and many many more. They have a nice selection of fresh fruits and veggies 🥕 🥦 The staff is super friendly and helpful! Their bread is good. There are also some ready meals if you’re hurry. I enjoy their soups for example. Pls note Marat/Ecoplaza as serves organic products is more expensive than other Dutch supermarkets.

Pros: Fresh & organic products , Wide selection of vegan , Friendly staff

Cons: Pretty expensive

Ok but more expensive than average supermarket

I don’t really go here for big groceries, usually for some snacks that I exceptionally enjoy to treat myself, like the organic vegan gluten-free apple pie from Rose & Vanilla, or organic dates from Yogi and Youssef.

They have a wide variety of mostly organic vegan products (mock meat, plant milk, yoghurt, snacks, fresh produce), but also a fairly large fresh fish/meat section.

Other vegan products you might like: vegan stroopwafels (traditional Dutch cookie/waffle), green cleaning products, smoked tofu, wide variety of organic beer.

Some fresh loafs of bread from BBread contain honey

Make sure to check your receipt; I’ve had several times that the prices, usually the weekly discounts, don’t match up with the price on the receipt
