Great For Vegans in Survival Mode - Edit
When we arrived in Olbia for a week’s holiday we had already researched the area on Happy Cow and Google and although there were no dedicated vegan or vegetarian restaurants listed, but there was one vegan store, which we went to immediately upon our arrival, only to find that it had closed down. That sucked big time. What to do? We decided to check out the nearest food store to where we were staying, and it happened to be Panedda Market, a family-run business that we were able to use to get enough vegan food and drink to last our week in Olbia. We enjoyed the meals we prepared from the range of vegan items available (we had no kitchen where we were staying so we ate a lot of fruit, and salads with bread, and snacks). These guys were life-savers, basically, and it was really nice interacting with them when we went shopping and they were very helpful. So in the end, our wonderful stay in Olbia was made even nicer by this great little store being vegan-friendly without perhaps ever even considering it. Thanks you guys!
