Market on South name confusing. - Edit
"Market on South" is a bit confusing. There really is no market but instead what would be called a restaurant anywhere else. This appears to be a blend of smaller businesses, perhaps a food truck or two. The food here is great but the identity and branding is confusing. Dixie Dharma, the "restaurant" component is very delicious! And the Valhalla "bakery" component is equally good. But what is what? And to make matters more confusing the two share the share counter and checkout. Either make them clearly separate brands or unify them as one location.
Pros: delicious food and desserts
Cons: brand(s) confusing

Loved it - Edit
This place is awesome. We happened to come on a weekend and availed ourselves of the brunch menu. The food had a Southern slant and was delicious. We also couldn't pass up the dessert. Oh my were they decadent! The vibe was cool and hipster, kind of Portlandia.
Pros: excellent food, great vibe

great find! - Edit
We stumbled by this great place on a recent visit to Orlando.
I had the taco shells which had tempeh, red cabbage and apple.
My boyfriend and friend both had the TLT with roasted sprouts.
Everything was delicious and the service was super friendly :)
Pros: great food , reasonably priced , friendly
Cons: none

needs more options - Edit
I'm so happy to have another all vegan place to go eat! That said, they only have like 4 options (sandwiches & tacos) and are a little expensive for what you get. My TLT was a little boring however my friend liked the BBQ jackfruit.
Also, I don't see what all the fuss is about the doughnuts. They are way too dense! This is supposed to be a doughnut not a pound cake!
Pros: all vegan, coop style place, friendly
Cons: limited seating, options, price vs value

Best - Edit
I visit this place daily usually. Donuts and coffee in the morning, delicious vegan southern food from 11a-10p and vegan hot dogs and beers from 10-midnight. Cool, friendly staff and the food never disappoints. As far as the waiters in suits, Dress Up Monday started as a joke and stuck around.
A must stop if you're in Orlando to visit and a great place to take non-vegans. Get them the BBQ jackfruit and watch them shut their mouth about vegan misconceptions reallll quick.

Killer Donuts at Valhalla Bakery - Edit
I was so impressed at how many different variations of donuts they had. My non-vegan husband hails Valhalla Bakery's donuts as the best donuts he's ever had. Not only are the donuts huge, but they are fluffy and perfectly moist. The cinnamon rolls are freaking delicious too. Definitely heading back to try Market On South's regular non-donut food.

AMAZING!!! - Edit
We decided to check out MOS to pick up some vegan pastries for NYE. But we couldn't stop in without trying one of their famous sandwiches. So, we decided to split the Pulled Carolina BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich, baked mac & cheese, and the cheese homies. The sandwich was delicious and everything else I thought it would be. The pickle and fried onions gave it a nice crunch and the jackfruit was tangy and sweet. PERFECT!! The mac & cheese was also delicious but the cheese homies were where it's at! They reminded me of patata bravas. There was a little bit of heat which worked well with the crispy potatoes and delicious vegan cheese sauce. We also grabbed a donut (cocoa pebble), chocolate tart, and a peanut butter caramel bar. SO good! However, we were a little disappointed there wasn't more of a seasonal or special selection of desserts since it was NYE. But they do special orders so next time I might call ahead and order something. In addition to the food being great, the service was equally wonderful. Everyone was super nice and welcoming.
Pros: Delicious Food, Friendly Service, Nice atmosphere

the best - Edit
I'm a vegan touring musician so it's not often I have to time to seek out quality vegan cuisine. Had the chance to pop in to this place this afternoon and it was fantastic! I've been on the road for almost 5 weeks and this is hands down the best stop on the trip this far. Highly recommend checking it out whether you are vegan or not. Great menu, the best service, and very reasonably priced!
