I stopped into the eatery to order and no one was at the counter. When someone finally came out, I was rudely told that I needed to order on Instagram and was handed confusing instructions on how to order. My order was not taken at the register as a courtesy so I went down the street to the Chinese restaurant and ordered Szechuan tofu at their counter instead. Worst service ever.
That seems horrible! I will travel down to this area quite a bit over the next couple of weeks to attend a yoga class and will probably grab dinner before getting back on the highway. I will not be checking this place out.
Great food, great staff, great energy! This place has lots of amazing raw option, vegan options, and the best smoothies I've had in a long while. Try the Watermelon, it's a game changer. Also hibiscus infused mango water served freely while you wait on your food from scratch. I spoke with every single happy person who came in and all I heard were positive comments! I was also impressed by all of the eagerness to try new food from first-time customers! Many new to the plant based lifestyle. They're really making amazingly healthy cuisine and affecting real change in the neighborhood! They host community education classes, and are in a place without many clean whole food, plant based options. I wish them all the success and hope they expand. I know I'll be recommend this place to everyone!
The restaurant appears to no longer be vegetarian. They serve fish and crab and eggs according to their website: https://www.marketeatery216.com/signature-meals-menu
